Rep Power: 0 | Good Rockin' Tonight Good Rockin’ Tonight Well the winds of Fate have tossed me all around in their wake, They have battered all my senses with a pain that’s hard to break. If I try to walk I find I have to crawl, It’s a wonder to me I can do anything at all, How I wish it would fade into the night, And let me go downtown and have fun with my baby tonight. Well, the Sun and the Moon have conspired to twist up my Brain. And the fishes in the Forest and the Dogs out to sea are to blame. But I really can’t get into all of that, There’s too much for me to do to waste my time on it, so I’ll tell you all about it next week, when I see you on the Street. You know I woke up this morning feeling like I never woke up at all, When in through my window flew somebody, she looked like a fireball. I asked myself “can this really be real?” And if it is, is it really such a fucking big deal. But I never got an answer, because my rent was overdue. Now this song that I’m singing I’m a singing cuz it’s got to be sung. And if I see any bells that need ringing, they’re going to get rung. I’m gonna to walk out into the night, tonight… I’m gonna sing for my baby gonna have good Rocking tonight. |
