well, its not a new new camera, but, refurbished, and new to me!

7.1 megapixel Pentax m30, got it for 30 bucks off ebay + 14 dollars shipping. its a great camera so far. i don't know much about the technical aspects of photography, but i love to snap pics, especially of outdoor scenary. i'll probably take a photography class this summer. woo.

snapped some quick pics to share.

some flowers from my grandma's garden, and the sky outside my yard.

and of course, the real reason i bought a new camera, for the bud shots!! here's some pics of my current stash, this is with low overhead lighting, i can't wait to see what kind of shots i can get with natural sunlight!

the first shot of the flowers,,,the pinkish one is great.

i hope i don't become one of those people constantly snapping pics of anything/everything! lol. not that its bad!

its nice to finally get a camera though, i go to a lot of live music events/shows and i never had proper equipment to capture memories!

this camera is pretty user-friendly, i'm still learning what all the different modes do, other than that, pretty cool gadget! and was great for the price.
