Nurse at Clinic said it is the worst case of Shingles she ever saw.
Thursday morning I go in for I.V of anti viral meds.
This is my first time with this stuff and I have never screamed
in pain before this. I thought I also had a slipped disc in my back
or passing kidney stones, feels like my kidneys are busting out of
my back.

Nurse said I waited too long, possible permanent nerve damage.:crying:

Sorry to hear that. My dad went through this a few years ago, looked like it was pretty painful. Hope you didn't do permanent damage.

Best to you! I recently survived shingles, and it was not pretty. Of course Blue Cross did NOT cover the only effective medicine for shingles, and i had to pay alot!

Went in this morning for I.V
They said nurse was mistaken,
no I.V at their facility, public clinic.
Dr. prescribed anti viral med acyclovir.
I took fist dose, violent vomitting after
one hour. Second dose 5 hours later
with some food in my stomach, same thing.
Cut pills in half, same thing.

Clinic called in another med to pharmacy
they said was much easier on stomach
but, still might have same effect. Went to
pick up med, OMG!!! 256.00, had to pass.
Asked pharm. what if I just let it run its course
without anti viral? pharm said no way, it will take
forever to go away and I would have to be on codiene
for way too long.

Any suggestions???
I can't find anyone to deliver mmj to Indio
so I am fit to be tied, mmj really helps with the
nausea and pain so I dont have to take the poison
pain pills.

I have read your post and I can tell you to keep taking that Medication the Doctor prescribed (Acyclovir)...No matter what... Those shingles will stop progressing in better time than without it. They will heal better too. With less nerve pain over time. My payers are with you..

I cried in pain all the way to P.S this morning.
My nausea was so bad from the pills that I was
going to have to be admitted to hospital for a few
days. Romulan and master kush to the rescue.
I threw out the codeine pills and can now stomach
the anti-viral med. I was even able to eat some
fruit and jello!!!! I am craving enchilladas now.

I will be on weedtracker ofter since I will be home bound
for the next 3weeks.
