Rep Power: 1699 | Re: just got out of the hospital, cellulitis i'm kinda scared about what they want to do now with me, i have sleep apena, and need to wear a mask at nite when i sleep ,cause i stop breathing 40 time's an hr, my oxagen level drop way low and my brain wake's me up, but i couldn't wear the mask due to my ear's plugging up. so they sent me to ear nose and throtDR, and i have a devated septum. on the right!! is compleatly plugged up, and the ER in this other hospitol tried to put an NG tube up that nosrill, with blood flying everywhere, . i told them to please not do it i begged them not to and they did it anyway, ofcourse it didn;t work and just made me suffer alot, i don't go to that hospitol anymore, anyway they want to do surgery, next month, but i have 3 blood disorder's. hemaphilla B and factor 11 and i forgot what the last one is, and my platelet count drops alot of the time, and i am running a temp of 101 and really sweating up a storm, just drenched in sweat, and my leg is swelling again, i have tet hose on to keep down but now it's higher and has gone to my stomach, called acites, and my leg is starting to hurt again, not to bad but i think they let out of the hospitol to soon, but they ran out of IV site's, they only lasted 24 hr's apice, so they had to keep changeing them, they will have to put in a central line next time or a pick line, this is strating to be alot for me to handle, i am afraid that if i do that surgery while i am on pridnazone, i will become infected easliy and could lose my life over a devated septum,,, but what do i do i could die in my sleep if this contiues i get no rem sleep and haven;t for a long time,, my pain DR wouldn't belive i was in the hosptol and made me run all over ceation for a print out from the hospitol or he would not refill my meds ,, i have this guy, i;m to sick to run all over just to prove to him that i'm telling the truth, i have never lied and never been early his math was wrong, and he blamed me for it, he said he told me to take 3 a day, but the bottle says 1 to 2 pill's 4 time;s a day, and that's the way they gave it to me in the hospitol, they followed the direction's on the bottle, so now he put's the oxycontin to 240 mg aday. that is way to much for me, why don;t i just overdose i mean it seems that what he's doing, i will not take that much!!!i will find out what i can tolarate and stop there!! i really scared about this surgery they want to do!! any suggestion's out there my friends. Rep Power: 185056 | Re: just got out of the hospital, cellulitis Dang endless... I wish I could offer advice but with everything you are dealing with, one would need to be a qualified expert to offer anything of substance as far as a surgery. I can understand the fear, it is a natural reaction and usually caused by too little information and/or trust, so the best advice I can offer is meeting with the Doctor and clearing up any concerns before trying to make a decision. Discuss how all these other issues will be addressed. How will the Doctor control bleeding and manage pain? What possible complications will you face. What will be the post surgery results and are they worth the risks. If the surgery is complication free, will the results reduce the sleep apnea or does it simply allow better pressure equalization between your ears when wearing the mask. I know I'm not as informed as you two, so think about writing a list of important questions, review them with your SO and set an appointment. I must say that I'm beginning to wonder what medications your pain management Doctor is using... This same issue has arisen several times since we began chatting. I know how difficult finding professional assistance has been and I'd suggest continuing the search. You shouldn't need to settle for someone so mathmatically challenged. I wish you much comfort and I'm keeping you in my prayers. |
