I know it's six months away, but I'm excited, the dated just got announced and it's April 17th, 18th, and 19th and that means I will be in the LA area during 4/20, oh yes

. Any one going? I'm going this will be my third year and third year Camping again, best concert experience, modern day Woodstock, and all kinds of music from Electric to Rock to Hip-Hop to Trance, all music style last year was: Prince, Roger Water - Dark side of the moon, Portishead, Aphex twin, Kraftwerk, many more...

They always have a sick line up and the side card is usually filled with bands you haven't heard of but give the four months after coachella and they are huge, like MGMT, MIA, and others, I'm stoked, Who's going?

It's always in Indio, CA at the Empire Polo Fields!

I'm totally going! I've gone the last three years as well. I live in Palm Desert when I'm not in sd so its like my backyard. I just saw the dates and became super stoked! I'm a music festival junkie. Bonnaroo, coachella, street-scene, etc. The countdown has begun! Since this will be their 10th yr I'm sure the headliners will be AMAZING! last year I lost my mind for Roger Waters, so this year has some big shoes to fill.

Definitely going, Coachella is going to be insane this year. I'm positive they are planning something insane for their decade anniversary.

I went in 05 and I had back stage/vip/camping passes
I got a bad stomach flu somehow so most of my memories were of the port-a-potties

Fun experience overall, but definitely an expensive weekend

I'm Camping, can't wait I'm also a Concert/Festival Junkie, the countdown begins, and we should get a line up by January...

Last year was great, and also 2007 was great with Rage/Bjork/Red Hot Chili Peppers

True, although it's very easy to take it in...I can't go 4 days without my meds, so I know how easy it to take. Is anyone here on WT also on the coach boards?

I've never had a problem bringing in my meds. Actually if they catch you (like a friend of mine) they take it and put in a black box, probably so all the security can use it for themselves later lol. But no matter how much you have they won't keep you out! I love coachella

You just have to be creative with how you sneak it in.

haha yeah I bet! I'm jealous in that aspect fer sure. Its all good though b/c in the end, my meds never get taken and we all just have a great time! Great music, great art, and great people!

I noticed that in August. I went to the Outside Lands Festival and was planning on sneaking in my meds. I felt silly walking through the gate with meds and a pipe hidden on my person only to be waved through without so much as a frisk. I definitely felt the love in SF, where in So. Cal we're still pretty open about it, there's atleast a bit of discretion. When I was at the Outside Lands festival, people were smoking everywhere. It was so layed back I found, that it wasn't a big deal to hit a pipe in front of security.

I wanna go back! I miss it already. I need some GRC and DT! I was lucky enough to sample Flat Top Purple while I was there and I gotta say Nor Cal has got the purps down!

I'm down, last year during Thursday night at the campgrounds during the Laser light show, I was smoking a bowl and shared bowls with this other group, they said it was a diesel but tasted like Romulan, when I pasted them the bowl of GDP with some Hash on top I packed, they all said damn this weed taste like candy, it was cool to meet some So-Cal people and share meds, love to meet some of you WT's if you guys are going to Coachella, and I have plans of sneaking in my meds and it's fool proof...

It's not that hard to get, you just have to have money, my chick friend always wins them, and she gives me one so I can rage at the full bar, but I'm not sure if she's going she's in Europe right now...

Did you read my first post, I said the dates were just announced, oh well, and Superskunker I noticed the Undercovers last year, in 2007 there were less, you just get deep in a crowd and light up, and don't be selling drugs, you will be fine, everyone asks for drugs, so if you bring your own supply your fine...
