My Mom has severe MS for 18 years now. She has been using MMJ for about 1 1/2 years. It has been hit or miss re; strains. She needs strains for spasticity, pain, headaches,nausea, and everything else that goes along with MS. She lives in a state where they would rather one die than light up. I feel for your Mom. She's been dealing with all that much longer than me and I just got in the game.

I've only just started this process but I hope that someone replies back to you with an answer for your Mom so you can help.

Hi, you definitely want to increase the potency of her medicine, experiment with kiefs, hash, and tinctures. Get her the strongest (usually most expensive) bud available at the dispensary in Indica, Sativa and Hybrid. What you'll likely find is that she may not respond to an Indica by getting sleepy or conversely a sativa may make her sleepy. You really have to experiment to get it right. Get a lot so she doesn't feel like she has to conserve it. Give her a couple of hours to get going in the morning, but then you need to help her to medicate. A vaporizer or glass water pipe will work best for fresh flowers, kief and hash.

You probably have found what you need but here is what my wife uses. She has White Widow as her main. She also has White Rhino and a couple of lesser strains than those 2. The more potent the better. She has been using MM since it was legalized here in OR. She does the Dr. Roy L. Swank diet and MM and mineral suppliments only. None of the Interferon crap or Anti-depressants.

I was diagnosed in 1988. I started MM 5 years ago. I have gone thru the loops on different strains. The best I have grown, for severe pain, cramping, lost energy levels, and staying alert is Super Silver Haze (Greenhouse Seeds). The best for neuropothy pain, inducing sleep and cramps is A-K (British Columbia Seed Co.) I live in Colorado so I can't recommend a dispensary. Hope this helps your Mom.

My mom has severe MS too and has had it for 8 years. She was completely against MJ since she is extremely conservative but ive been successful in turning her onto to it to help symptoms, especially since the pharms make her feel sick. I usually go for indicas and either make THC pills or tincture. PM me if you need a recipe

My mom has it as well. She recomends some heavy indica like an OG and some hash oil candy bars from C.A.R.E. Good luck to you and your mom.
