Rep Power: 13829 | Medical Marijuana Labels Label for Montana patient's medicine. This should get cops to pause and think about their potential liability. This also will help distinguish medical from black market. Sorry about the image size but if you click on it you can enlarge it for use. Last edited by squatter420; 10-15-2007 at 04:41 PM.. |

Rep Power: 13829 | Re: Medical Marijuana Labels Over all I think the cops and the courts here in MT are more compliant with the law, than is the case in CA. We don't have as much precedence on the books as you do in CA either though. It's still unfolding here and not as clear cut as in CA. |

We have far more than enough new comers that are bringing their money and ways to our perceived "third-world" area. Last July just down the road a birthday party was thrown for SF's Chuck Schwab the part-time neighbor who flys into Mizzoo in his humble personal jet and helicopters to the "ranch." That included 19 tractor trailer loads of limos and party fixin's from the West. Too damned bad we Montanan's didn't have a fancy enough limo for CA's Gov Arnie ! Most of us are just barely "gettin' by." Puffin' our finest . Just leave us alone. Don't try to improve our lifestyle. Well don't worry we won't be moving there in droves...trust me on this. You're welcome to visit and leave your money but just keep on movin' . Nope....I'll spend my hard earned dollars somewhere else. But hey thanks for the invite! We have far more than enough new comers that are bringing their money and ways to our perceived "third-world" area. I think the *third world* is your take...personally Montana is a beautiful state. Last July just down the road a birthday party was thrown for SF's Chuck Schwab the part-time neighbor who flys into Mizzoo in his humble personal jet and helicopters to the "ranch." Most of us are just barely "gettin' by." Puffin' our finest . That is truly not unique to Montana...we're not all movie stars here in CA... Just leave us alone. Don't try to improve our lifestyle. Why would people that work hard or are sick and can't work worry about coming to Montana to *improve* your lifestyle? Because Da Cuz Says: BE UPFRONT BE LEGAL MEDICATE SAFELY[/quote More than that ......BE UNITED. Much love and peace from California |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Medical Marijuana Labels Ivy- We already have them here in "droves." The "third-world" perception is not mine. Outsiders buy property here without even looking at it for an investment. We are just people that are seen on the way to the gated communities. We do their service work. We deliver their groceries to their private "mountain cabins," we are a cheap labor force for their construction projects. Beauty has nothing to do with it. Cambodia is a beautiful country too. It's difficult to fatten a calf or raise kids on windburgers and icicle juice. It's not the hard-working and sick that want to change our lifestyle it is the redneck rich Rethugs that want to roll it back to their idea of what Montana should be. Trying to pack local school boards to promote "intelligent design," using their out-of-state monied cronies to get elected to county commisioner slots, legislative positions, law enforcement and the judicial branches are all prime targets and the list goes on. Just read some of the letters to the editor of the local press. The ignorance and arrogance shown be some is absolutely dumbfounding. Yeah. I guess we need to be protected from ourselves. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Medical Marijuana Labels Ivy- You are Oh so correct with the "walk a mile in your shoes" analogy. I know there are some wonderful ppl in CA and some real a**holes in MT. Our county, probably one of the most conservative voting in the state, is adjacent to Missoula County which is unarguably the most liberal leaning in the state. The flow of traffic is horrendous. For a place that has basically decriminalized cannabis to the extent they have it sure is attractive to the Wal-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, CostCo, Starbucks, Famous Daves, Target, Walgreens shoppers who don't mind being assisted by some poor minimum-wage person with no health care. Hey. Let 'em eat cake. It just seems that what ppl are trying to escape where ever they are they manage to bring along with them. For the most part, Montanan's are of a live-and-let-live mentality. We really don't care what our neighbor is doing as long as it doesn't scare the horses. We have gone from a perceived backwoodsy out-of-touch bunch of hicks to be exploited to a playground for out-of-state Hummer and BMW drivers who have little regard for local speed limits or locked gates. Oh yes. We have our local buttheads too. Not all is negative however. Our county has one of, if not the highest, per capita rate of MMMP registrants in the state. We would also like to think some of the best meds available are produced in this side of the state. |
