Arrow Oregon Toxicologist Says Treatment for PTSD Should Include Cannabis

Phillip Leveque, a former WWII combat infantryman, physician and toxicologist, discusses the merits of marijuana use for those who suffer from PTSD.
The whole story is at the link. I hope that this helps others out there that suffer from PTSD like I do. I prefer MMJ over methadone and and all the other antidepressent meds that they put me on and Im like a zombi. I know there's alot of other vets on here that are getting their medical care at the VA and alot of doctors at the VA like to scare because of the use of MMJ. Its sad because how many would have more quality of life out here if they would just look at the possibilities of altenative medications. They are starting to use meditation and yoga and even chrioprators maybe they'll look at all angles instead of the federal government stance.
Other then that it's an interesting article even if your not a vet with alot of useful information
Take care
Peace and love
Trish

Very interesting indeed. My cousin knows a vet from Iraq and was telling me about the horrible PTSD he suffers from. He has to sleep in a seperate room from his wife because he had nightmares in the middle of the night and punches walls and throws objects across the room. I hope cannabis can help him in some way and that he can get better soon.

I feel for your cousin...PTSD is really an invisible wound,,,,I hope that he seeks counseling asap even with the use of cannibis counseling is a must for someone suffering from PTSD there is such a high succcess rate of being able to live with wounds that will always be there but, it is liveable
Take care
