sucks....but our relationship is over. we had the official "talk" today and it doesn't seem like it's gonna work out. irreconcilable differences. lol...i laugh but i am kinda sad that it didnt work out. :( but it seems like i always get a little down after a relationship ends. im the type that likes to fix things and work em through, i dont like to quit so when someone wants to quit, it hurts me. i dont understand how people can just quit? thats weak!

anywho, im a little emberassed posting this here but i wanted to get it off my chest.

i guess its time to go get some quality medicine and relax for a little. :-D

I've been recently single(well 2 months lol) and HONESTLY.........i feel like my old self....sometime you lose yourself in someone else trying to completely please them...........while losing yourself...

I'm guessing you're feeling pretty bad, and this wasn't just some little fling or you wouldn't mention it. If you are seriously heartbroken, I wouldn't just jump on somebody else. If you're seriously messed up from this - the best way I know how to get over it is to do something big. I'm not saying to move to Tibet, or join the military, I'm saying do something cool that you always wanted to do, but might have been afraid to. Go to the gym, go back to school, get some positive goals, do something big, and don't look back (easier said than done, I know). That's the only way I know of to get over a serious relationship. Replacing women has never worked for me, and lord knows I've tried. Sometimes you have to change your whole life. Good luck.

I do sometimes. u know whats funny, i have thought about joining the military, LOL! but i recently realized i would not be doing that anytime soon...lol. anyway, i ve been thinking about doing something big as well. idk where to start. i could start at the gym but i really dont care too much about that. i think id rather pick up a new hobby like camping, hiking, mountain biking, etc. something to keep me busy, away, and outdoors.

Those sounds like good ideas to me. I suggested the gym because when you can bench 250 lbs, it's hard to feel bad. I can't bench more than 150 right now. I went through one relationship that took years to get over. Only way I got over it was to go back to school for 1 year full time and get a job in a field I love. I met a lot of beautiful women at that school (was for a teaching credential). Every day I go to work is pretty much a good day, and I don't think of her anymore. Love and work are the two areas that will give anyone joy or depression. If you already do what you like to do, make decent $, etc, then you can start dating any time you want. Good luck. I hope you move on as fast as you can. I think of all those years I spent dwelling on my failed relationship. What a waste.
