I hope in these troubling times that everyone who suffers from any form of depression finds a ray of sunshine in there Life today!!
I know that in my life I struggle with it. I smile to pacify my friends and family but have my personal battles..
So I just want to encourage anyone out there that might need it, To never give up, To fight with all that you are to be that precious life we are worthy of being..
Even in the darkest moments of our lives, There is always a Ray of Sunshine. Its just up to us to feel the warmth!!
I do thank my God for this day and sure am glad to be alive!!

That was a great, positive post, and I'm surprised nobody has replied. I think you've got a great attitude going into this year, and I hope it has and will continue. Every day I'm out of a depression is a gift, and you can bet I'm grateful for them too. Hope you stay healthy and happy.

Thanks, I have had a tough couple of weeks, But without the bad I will never appreciate the good..!! 3 weeks as of Saturday no smoking to!!

My life has been very tough lately ....Thank you!!! I was baptized yesterday !!!! AMEN!!!! I was baptized when i was 12 , but yesterday was the real deal!!!! Have a great day! Ric!

As someone who has struggled with depression for decades (yes, me, really!) I appreciate what you are saying here. Never let the dark times take you down so far that you can't come back. I'm very fortunate to have a wonderful, understanding family to support my emotional health!

Oh thank you for your words of encouragement. I was terminated from my employment today for using medical marijuana to treat my disability, and I was feeling a little depressed.

Your not Alone here as I deal with depression as well but -jah is good. My bout of depression raged out of control this year. But I made it through the darkest depths to be able to live another day. Cheers to life and may you be blessed with love,happiness and good fortune.As they say one door closes and another swing WIDE open. I went thru the same thing with my last employer of 19 years,don't let this steal your joy :)

I have had great loss and have seen many forms of depression and experienced a few of them myself..
I struggle daily to get out of bed, to make money to be alive..But that is a struggle that I fight usually alone and within myself.. We are human beings and we sometimes forget that. So we just keep living in this world and arent truly alive..

So I tell myself I am not a human living I am a Human Being and I want to be apart of this world, This world is a beautiful place and I much rather be alive then dead.. To quit living and start being is something spirtually that happens within yourself.. Being apart of society, nature,peoples lives.. Those are the things that make us so unique!!
Animals may have feelings but we are the only creatures that have morals, values, and most of all a spiritual awareness!! All other things no there creator!! We strugle to find ourselves and dont rely enough on just being!!

Today is a good day, Even in my trials and tribulations I try to find some ray of hope.. That ray always seems to come from within myself when I lean not on my understanding but rather on just being!

First of all

We all go through hard times that are depressing.

Nice to know there are people here who care. !!!

I also care...suggestions: Whenever you are depressed do the following:
1.)Phone a friend -friends like to help so, cry with someone.
2.) Medicate with something uplifting ...maybe a sativa
3.) Go watch a comedy and try to laugh
4.) Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.

Always try to remember that life isn't fair, but it's still good
and that whatever doesn't kill you REALLY DOES make you stronger.

Life is a struggle for a lot of people right now...
Let's try to be supportive.
