Hey all, I kept hearing from the grapevine and council staffers alike that the gang o' 14 would be voting on the ordiances this week. Haven't heard a thing since. What gives? Anybody got any info?

I checked the city council agenda page--

The Official Web Site of The City of Los Angeles - Council Calendar

--and it's not on agenda for Tues or Wed. meeting though it may appear tomorrow as Special Agenda for Wed. It may also be in Friday's session but it's not up yet on web. I understand the city has 48 hours to notify on regular meetings and 24 hours for Special Agenda.

I think it's going up next week.

There are no city council meetings on Thurs.

Always Tues, Wed, and Fri. Only three times per week.

I think they are working on another draft, so give them time. The less contentious issues, the better for us. As it stands each speaker would need about an hour to go through all the bullshit.

I believe no news is good news at this time. You guys rocked them with emails and other contacts, they are having another look. Good Luck with this round.

That's actually great news for me, and I'm sure y'all wanna hear all about it, cause it's ALL about the VooDoo Chile for sure! As per Cephas' request, I'll let y'all know that I have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so that means I'll totally be able to attend the meeting, if 'dem folks ever decide to have it!
