Rep Power: 8553     |  US Patent 6630507 - Cannabinoids As some of us know. the Marijuana Plant is a Shedule1 drug according to the DEA and has absolutely no medical value at all...Labeled as Dangerous...  So now that real facts are being released.. Real research has made great headway and recieved U.S. Patents on many of the Cannabinoids in the Plant itself.... These Patents mean that Marijuana absolutely has medical value and uses.. And there is more than one..... So why doesn't the DEA reclassify it??? This is the Question... No bullshit like our government bullshit. |

Remember, Nixon did not act unilaterally to create current U.S. drug policy. Congress approved this crap in 1970. True, they reached different conclusions about marijuana than the Nixon administration, but c'est la. The D.E.A. is technically an executive agency, so in theory, Obama could do this alone via Executive Order, but that doesn't seem to be his style. Bottom line: The D.E.A. is merely an agency. They have no more control over their main policies than the F.C.C. |

This is different that the way drugs like marinol are made. It is also the first cannabis based drug to use thc and cbd. It is undergoing clinical trials here in the US. Sativex peace  |
