Rep Power: 1719 | I just read an article that the Oakland airport will let someone carry past security up to 8oz of their drug if they are a valid patient or caregiver. He or she can keep it and board the plane. "Deputies warn the pot-carrying passengers that they may be committing a felony upon arrival when they set foot in a jurisdiction where medical marijuana is not recognized. But they say they don't call ahead to alert authorities on the other end" The said they cannot be sure that the This is one step in the right direction. Of course, if you try to return with any, the other airports may have an issue! I have to travel for business all the time. It is a fer factor of what to do with my meds. Some people ship their meds ahead, some hide them in their luggage, and the other option is trying to "buy" wherever you are going, obviously not legally. Is their anything legal one can do? If not, what is the safest? Ideas? Experiences? |
