Rep Power: 1004 | Re: Huckabee on MMJ Unfortunately, I think the first video of his response sums up the general attitude of most Americans for medical marijuana. Most just don't know enough about it or about what the DEA is doing to really support this issue, and the candidates responses are usually a reaction to how most voters feel on the issue. Of course, coming from a self proclaimed Christian, it seems very hypocritical he would not support something that helps people. True Christianity is all about compassion, and I can't see how a real Christian could be against medical marijuana. But of course, a true Christian doesn't go on TV proclaiming their faith, rather they let their actions show what their faith is. I sometimes wonder if Christians ever read those parts in the bible that warn about false prophets, they seem so common in our society now but nobody ever criticizes them and Christianity is supposed to be the most popular religion in America. If I was a Christian, I would be very angry with people like Huckabee who gives all other Christians a bad name. |
