I was wondering if anyone could provide me with more insight into collectives. Where to find them, how to join them, how they operate. I have more recently started looking up info on them because of an ad on craigslist that sparked my interest. It advertised that if you join, you can get 4 oz. free per month. It sounded too good to be true so I sent them an email. They responded with a few links to thier sites ( i wont post em here cuz they arent part of our WT family ) and basically told me, its $20 bucks to join and $50 one time fee per plant and they do all the growing and just keep 15% of the final crop. Is this like me giving them my prmission to grow my 6 plants Im legally allowed to grow?

Does this sound legit? I would love to grow my own but I dont have the $$$ right now to run those expensive light nor do I have the knowledge of growing to mke sure the crop comes out plentiful. I would love some insight.
