Question Co-ops aside, if new raids happen, what should patients do?

I said this in that lawyers warning thread and got a bunch of positive pm's about it and the topic seemed to beg for a thread of it's own for a fuller discussion from all angles not just mine.

Upfront I admit this statement I make here is definitly in my own self interest as a seed breeder but also my real opinion ....

iIf any of this is true about the new potential raids and prosecutions and it will happen patients should stock up now on seeds and clones to be prepared to go on in a self sustaining way producing their own medicine under the guidleines of Prop215 and SB420.

Seeds can be stored for a long time if done properly and the cloning of mother plants can make a pack or two last years and years

This is not a course of action everyone can but those that can should be prepared with this sort of backup plan.

I also think that patients should overwhelm the offices of the DA and the Mayor with calls and emails to object to the wasting of tax dollars in this way.

Re: Co-ops aside, if new raids happen, what should patients do?

Can big brother really stand by and allow the city to close all dispensaries with out providing a reasonable means for true patients in need to obtain their medicine. Aren't the city state and federal officials employees of and for the people? Are the politicians really not part of the people that vote 50%+ to allow US to use MMJ?
Who's in charge here I want to talk to him! Who are these guys protecting us from? Has anybody asked them how they would do it so it was safe to get?
Rant Rant Rant don't know what else to do. After writing my reps and showing up at protests and talking to my piers WHAT!!! I feel better now but this didn't help the cause...

Re: Co-ops aside, if new raids happen, what should patients do?

Everyone should grow their own meds if possible, even if they prefer getting their meds from their collective, its still important that we all pitch in to our collective our excess meds for the other patients who are not able to do this. This is how its always been, we give and take and not only with meds, but with true support. We all can help and pitch in in different ways. In times like this we must stick together as a family and support one and other to the best of our ability.
