City Attorney Carmen Trutanich is scheduled to address the "Old Granada Hills Resident's Group" tonight at 7pm... This will take place at Granada Hills Charter High School at 10535 Zelzah Ave. Granada Hills.... I gotta work until 8pm, but it would be great to get some trackers there to at least listen in if not participate....  |

Rep Power: 7915 | Re: Alert: Trutanich to speak in granada hills tonight wont be going there anytime soon... hey sunny day were you at the protest at city hall in oct?? i dont remember seeing you....or a rep from your collective. why didnt you and the other collectives send a rep to the protest...now that i think about it i was protesting for you as well as the community... dont remember seeing you there at the protest....i was there where were you? think about this if every collective/dispecery (in l.a.) sent one rep to the protests that occur...that is close to 1000 people off the bat.... that day there were maybe 20 - 30 peeps....and i am pretty sure only one or two collectives were represented. think before you post.... |

Kahn is the reason the dispensary ban was declared invalid by the LA superior court judge. So you can all thank me very much. I am a founding member of LACA (Los Angeles Collective Association) and have been very active in the MMJ community. Could not attend meeting last night to th efact that I am running my NON-PROFIT Mutual Benefit and can barely pay myself or my employees. I apologize for saying that "I am so sick of you guys" it is just hard to get updates on the things that truly matter not just who has the fucking dankest NUGS in Los Angeles. |

Rep Power: 7915 | Re: Alert: Trutanich to speak in granada hills tonight apology accepted....i may not be at everything...but i make calls, i vote and send letters and email.... i understand the tension you must be under...well i dont understand it as much as i can empathize with your situation....i too apologize if i came off harsh... back topic now pls...  what i stated earlier still holds true...if may offer my humble opinion. i think in the community there is a lack of cohesion between the cooperatives/dispenceries. i think what i was trying to say is if there is large protest or something to that effect i can only say im shocked that every place in l.a. county does not send one employee to represent them...they (opponents) constantly like to point out the proliferation of said places, and i think there is strength in numbers. i wonder how many others would come out to such events if they knew there were going to be 500 or more people there protesting as well. some may not like what im going to say but im going to say it. there is no unity in the community of cooperatives/dispenceries. a union or guild if you will. i think if the community were to enact and encourage others to participate they could become a powerful lobby in city and state governments. the collectives could draw up a charter and establish for criteria into the guild and the guild responsibilities. i.e. regarding mmj issues, collective standards and practices. these people on this elected board could represent the large numbers out there. they could go to these council meetings as well. some will want to participate in some some wont...but i dont see the collectives/dispenceries collectively coming together for the issues that are present and affect the cause. maybe im wrong or there is something out there like that and i dont know about it. just a thought jmho.
