Rep Power: 10401 | What should be legalized first: Prostitution or cannabis? Yep... what do you think. I asked a fellow citizen, if he thought cannabis should be legalized, his response was: Prostitution should be legalized, because it would save marriages and make money.... pot or butt? |

Rep Power: 1570745 | Re: What should be legalized first: Prostitution or cannabis? It puzzles' me why we make laws against things that are not hurting anyone. 1. prostitution- the oldest profession in the world. Two consenting adults. The idea of regulating it as a business, would stop the spread of STD's. If patterned like Nevada, the girls' are checked monthly. If it were taken off the streets & away from the pimps & operated in brothels (where the women would be safer). Then, why not? 2.cannabis- quite possibly one of the oldest medicines in the world. No reported overdoses, no deaths. Any adverse effects are usually in combination with other intoxicants (pharms. liquor or drugs). Cannabis users are generally very docile, happy & not aggressive. Many brilliant people have contributed help with their creativity to the use of cannabis. Then, why not? As soon as government officials figure out how to make more money by making these things legal compared to how much they are making by them being illegal, nothing will change. Money will be the deciding factor. We are a very confused society! |

Rep Power: 607781 | Re: What should be legalized first: Prostitution or cannabis? Oh....my brain spins with the possibilities and unending amounts of crude things I could be typing....being smoked while smoking...free j with services... All jokes aside, the two are not related, talk about apples and oranges.... MJ is a plant that can be very beneficial to many, many people's lives regardless of race, sex, etc... Prostitution neither a plant, nor beneficial to the general populace. I would guess the original person who responded with the prostitution statement, was being ironic, and facetious, basically saying, "Well if we are gonna let the druggies have their thing, we should let the perv's have theirs." That is a stupid statement, so I will respond with one equally stupid, let's combine them...full service Co-Op's!!!!! At least then all the ads for attractive budtenders makes more sense too....plus that way Cooley will have to start paying if he wants to keep f***ing us....maybe he'll use a check and we can do him like Jerry Springer... |

Its good for business, there fortune 500 prisons its crazy that the second biggest industry in nevada is prison, fuck guantonamo companies are making money for holding american citizens behind bars, dont get me wrong i dont want us torturing people but i would like to see some attention on this fact and i think it should be a bigger issue. |

Rep Power: 306307 | Re: What should be legalized first: Prostitution or cannabis? How come every time I go to Vegas I get hit up by numerous working ladies??? Maybe it's my demographic, since I look old they must think I have alot of cash. The walkway between Mandalay Bay and The Hotel has been dubbed "Hooker Hallway" be me. I highly doubt these ladies want me for my looks or body! |

She said, "Stone, it would only corrupt the fabric of our society." The "fabric of society" ?? What are we, a bunch of bedspreads? Hell, if we legalized both, we only be selling more and stronger bedspreads! Go to your room, son.

Our government, starting from our beloved congress and executive office, all the way down to the inspector, and average day peace officer, have allowed for corruption to thrive and make money. There are things like prisons for profit. Did you hear about the judge who was sending youths to jail because he was getting about 1 grand to 1500 a head. When I got a DUI, I realized that alcohol is a good business, not just for liquor stores and bars. But, more so for dui schools, and jails, and courts collecting their fines and fees. I realized that to our society is more important to keep you a junkie, than to help you with a disease of addiction. Because, you represent what they want to keep selling our war on drugs... Sad but true, and I don't mean to sound so cynical, because not every person that holds a public office is like that, but it seems like the great majority is. So, marijuana makes more money being illegal than being legal. Plus, if cannabis was legal, it would bring so much competition to all other industries. From petroleum, food, medicine, clothing, vehicle body building, home building, green energy/renewable energy sources... oh the list is endless, and so I am left without hope and with my mmj card. Because mj will never be legalized, and if I am ever proven wrong by my government, than I will eat my own shoes.... Now, how much does Cooley owe us for all those years of screwing...

Rep Power: 7291 | Re: What should be legalized first: Prostitution or cannabis? Both. But honestly, if prostitution were legalized you'd see a huge increase in the spread of herpes. Herpes is not just transmitted through genital contact; you can spread it through skin to skin contact, esp. the area surrounding all 3 orifices. Just a heads up. Those zits around the "areas", not zits, its herpes! Check your adult videos. There's been a huge increase in herpes infections ever since people have been shaving themselves bald down there. Condoms poking thru boxers/briefs is the safest form of sex. |

Having one while the other is against the law is sacrilegious. This kind of separatism MUST STOP. I say.................outlaw marriage before outlawing prostitution. Makes a helluva lot more sense. |

Rep Power: 34759 | Re: What should be legalized first: Prostitution or cannabis? well, first marijuana (because I'm biased). And then prostitution. Not because it was save marriages (I'm not sure how that would work), but because its a public health and human rights issue. When you make something illegal, you make it impossible to regulate/control. |

Rep Power: 12506 | Re: What should be legalized first: Prostitution or cannabis? If you want pay-per-do flesh, go to Vegas where its already legal in some parts. If you want legal bud, you could go to Brekenridge, CO, other than that I wouldnt hold my breath (PUN INTENDED). Until the fatcat lawmakers actually try weed for a month straight, they will never know how unharmful it really is. Everyone says, (in Glen Beck's mocking voice) "I tried a hit and it wasn't for me." .... NO SHIT.... the first time I had a drink of Wild Turkey 101 Kentucky Burbon it wasnt for me either, but over time I found it didn't tear my mind up as much as Absolut 100, and came to like it (especially in a Whiskey Sour on a day registering 110o F). That was of course BEFORE I found that medical MJ helped me sleep peacefully and didn't make me fatter or give me a headache. Plus I didn't have to get heartburn from chugging a stadium cup full of booze to ease my mind. |
