Well, Tuesday's election also showed that the Dems won another seat in Congress, in an area that hasn't ever gone blue. And yeah, it's usually the conservatives who are so gung-ho about anti-marijuana laws. Not the libertarians, but the conservatives, mainly religious ones. Sorry if you don't agree with that, but where I live, it's always the conservative Republicans mentioning harder crackdowns on MJ dispensaries, banning them, how MJ is bad, etc etc. And saying anyone who disagrees with them is anti-American, and so on...

and seriously, it's been Obama that has loosened the Federal rules and crackdowns. I didn't see Bush doing that.

LOL The Rethuglicans lost TWO SEATS in the House, and are declaring victory. They lost a seat the Rethugs have held since the Civil War because they revolted against the locals who nominated a popular local lady who happened to be pro-choice and supports gay marriage. They claimed she was not conservative enough, even though the NRA endorsed her! In New Jersey the Dem governor had an approval rating in the twenties, yet lost by only five points. Go ahead and declare victory all you want, the rest of us will laugh our asses off at the infighting. Yesterday the House Minority leader Boehner participated in a rally that included racist and hate signs, and he stood there and listened while speakers lied and distorted. This brown-nosing to the radical elements will lead to ruin in any National election.

BTW: If you can name any other Republican besides Ron Paul and possibly Dornan that supports MJ or MMJ?

You can be like that. Start attending Local meetings and make your voice heard. If we could all convince 1 conservative to reconsider our countries outdated and out of touch prohibition of marijuana we will pass SB390, change the Fed's stance and finally enjoy the freedom shared by so many other countries. I'm not at all surprised by her comments. Fox News has been talking about MJ legalization for the last few weeks. Bill O has discussed prohibition with pro-legalization folks on the Factor several times in the last three weeks. Right now, Obama seems to be the only one who refuses to discuss legalization.

Have to admit it's cool Fox is tackling this issue. At least it reaches the conservatives. When Rush Limbaugh comes on board we know it will have reached a critical mass.

Such a bullshit comment. MJ has come closer to being legalized under his watch than ANY former President, period.

The plain and simple fact is, is that he has much more important things to take care of than spending his political capital on the legalization issue, and that IF he did spend that political capital on this issue, it would hinder the more important issues that he is trying to address, and the fact that you and many others can't understand this is totally beyond me and more than just a bit myopic.

LOL Yeah nice try!! Another Rethug is blaming Obama, this time for legalization. Fox News is not in favor of legalization, they just cover it because it's popular. I will challenge another Rethug: Other than Ron Paul or Dornan (Libertarians), can you name any other Rethugs who are sympathetic to MJ or MMJ? Please let us know!

See, I kinda disagree with this. It's not so much the Republicans, but the conservative religious right that I have an issue with. While it's true that most all of the conservative religious right are Repubs, not all Repubs are...........them.

It's really too bad. The Republicans had a pretty decent party going until these nut jobs hijacked them and claimed the Republican party as their own.

I hear you, and the few proud Trackers who are Republican obviously support MMJ. But look at the poster in this thread who uses every opportunity to slam Obama, who is the very first POTUS who is MMJ friendly. It's a mindset. If it's bad, blame Obama. The Dixie Chicks mention a war that happens to be freaking unjust, and they essentially lose their careers, while actual members of Congress yell REVOLUTION and revel in racist signs yesterday at the Capital, all during "wartime". If you even mentioned any questions about Bush you were a "traitor", and if you do the same about Obama you are a "patriot".
