I always trip on how the media goes on and on about how much more potent marijuana is today in comparison to the marijuana of the say, sixties.

What they always fail to point out is that more potent=less time medicating=less tars in the lungs.

I think they want it to remain low for a few reasons,
one people couldn't handle it,.
two patients would complain it's too harsh,.
Coughing on a toke is a good sign of higher levels of dope,.
but patients want smooth medication, not dope!

where is the 15 -25% the Dutch are growing ?
sure as hell the MMJ in the States is not as high,.
were still in the 10 -12 % at max,. unless someone can prove it otherwise,.

I have been medicating for a long time & can compare with what I used for recreation when I was younger(70s' thru 90s') I don't think that this is a correct statement. Indica has always been stronger then the dirt weed brought in from Mexico. Although, I have had some Brown that would put me down for the count. I'am just so HAPPY that the meds I use now are so much more tasty!!! If they are stronger....PERFECT!!!

Farms already do this through genetic alterations...It is the opposite of "organic" ...how do you think they get extra huge tomatoes, grapes etc.

Of course, but not exponentially like they claim MJ growers are able to achieve so rapidly. And who pray tell is PAYING for these meds to be tested for thc? I think they make the shit up!

They won't let us grow outdoors in large units,.
lowering the cost of the medication while improving the quality,.
remember Santa Cruz and one of the first and largest MMJ outdoor crops ?

The potency hasn't gotten stronger, the technology and information on growing has become so widespread through the years, and even further now by the internet, that people know how to actually grow. A better farmer provides a better crop. Its not like all of a sudden because we were smoking so much weed that the plants magically started becoming more and more potent.

What I want to really know is why didn't any of the news stations pushing this report ask the simple question, "Does this make it more dangerous?" They probably would have lost some advertisers if they were to question how dangerous marijuana really is. The mainstream news networks are terrible in this country!
