very nice man. Did they let you bring a video camera into the courthouse to video that. Wasn't sure as everytime I have went to court in the OC they have made me leave me cellphone in the car cause it has video on it.

as soon as your buddies case is dismissed he just needs to file a return of property motion. If they ask, have him cite the Garden Grove V. Kha case. This is the case law that went all the way up to the Supreme Court and was ruled for in favor of patients getting their marijuana back which now makes it case law.

not a problem. Which county was he in. I know Riverside county, San Diego county and san Bernadino county are real hostile towards MMJ and the DA might try to put up a fight for the return of property. This is where the case law will come into play as not everyone is familiar with it although you would think judges and DA's would be.

I represented myself in court. But ASA did all the work. I just filled in the blanks and made the court appearances.

I actually had my G1 recording the video in my front shirt pocket. that is why the a/v is so shitty. I will post another video when I retrieve it from the property department and weigh it out.

As time gos on, this is becoming a more and more common situation. This is why its so important for all MMJ patients to know their rights and not to be scared if they come into a situation like this one. A lot of times unfortunately the police will try to intimidate you into submission trying to make you feel like a criminal. When we are simply following our state laws.

You should submit your case to the press and media. The people need to know that we are fighting for our rights and what the police are doing to the MMJ patients is wrong and the courts will correct this. Once we have this in their heads fully, we don't have to worry about things like this. They have no right to even touch your meds!

True. But you would be surprised how easy it is to get KTLA or any news station to pick up a story. They are desperate and 90% of the stuff they air is junk. Your story holds purpose and their is a lot of interest right now about medical marijuana.
