| Marijuana Policy Project (MPP) Marijuana prohibition has failed. It's time for a new approach, and MPP is leading the way. Since our founding in 1995, we've been making real progress in reforming U.S. marijuana laws. |

Rep Power: 47841 | The Drug Enforcement Administration and local law enforcement raided two Los Angeles area medical marijuana dispensaries today. Only limited information is available so far, but MPP will be watching the situation closely. To read more, visit the MPP Website by clicking here.. |

Rep Power: 2441 | Re: Medical Marijuana Raids in L.A. i'm sickened by this, yet not surprised. If a manufacturing company didn't pay their taxes, would the government show up with fully automatic weapons and kick in the door instead of knocking? i'm sure 90% of the co-ops want to be legit, the GOV just refuses to show them how. i truley believe that our federal government will one day legalize marijuana. But when they do, large corporations will immedietly patent all the major strains and distribute them like cigerettes. Thus no one will be able to grow or distribute, you'll have to drive up to 7-eleven and pay $7.25 for a pack of shwag. |
