| WT members playing out If you are a musician and WT member, how about letting all of us know where you are playing. Info should include: Venue (club/theater/coffeehouse, etc....) Date/time (Please list your timeslot if it applies) Ages permitted Cost of tickets Where tickets are available Style of music for the show (please don't send folks to a hardcore show if they're not into it....) I checked on this-this will not be considered spam or shilling. The WT community could have quite a bit of power in terms of getting favorite bands booked into certain venues. It would be very cool if we could support our fellow WTs who are musicians, and also a great time if we all show up at once! Peace and One Love, damudbug |

| Re: WT members playing out I'll start. Here is my schedule for the month of March 2007: Sunday 04/04, 4:20-8:20-Taco Surf, Sunset Beach, OC, Cali. Free show-all ages. Classic rock/reggae/blues, with songs by The Band, Bob Marley, The Grateful Dead, Little Feat, Sublime and others. The name of the band is "Crosscut", and Taco Surf is a very cool restaurant with great food. Saturday 04/17, 10AM-4PM-Muldoon's Dublin Pub, Newport Beach CA (Fashion Island). St. Patrick's Day with dancers, pipers and more. One of the best St. Paddy's day bashes anywhere-get there early before the line forms. The band is "Van Dieman's Band", and we play Irish music from the Chieftains and the Clancy Brothers to modern stuff like the Pogues, Riverdance, Solas and U2. I will be the mandolinist in the kilt..... Friday 04/23-The Cowboy Palace Saloon, Chatsworth. 9PM-1AM-lead guitar and mandolin with the Brant Vogel band. The Cowboy Palace is one of the last real roadhouses left in Cali. The music is "outlaw" country, like Waylon, Willie, Steve Earle and the like. There is a good-sized dance floor and beer that is cold and not expensive. There is no cover, and the only dress code is that you wear shoes. Friday 04/29-Same as 04/23...... These are all the dates I am playing so far that the public can attend. I will post updates as they come up. I will be going out to Albequerque the first part of April for 2 weeks of shows with Brant Vogel. Please introduce yourself if you drop by-I'd love to meet all you good folks. Peace and One Love, damudbug "It's crawfish, y'all...." "I am NOT damage-amage-amage-amaged! (Whoops, maybe I AM)":slaugh: Last edited by damudbug; 02-21-2007 at 08:27 AM.. | Re: WT members playing out A correction: The first date noted is incorrect. The date is March 11, not March 4. This is great, because I can go to the gathering at the CALM. I'll bring my guitar with me (I already talked to the CALM family, and they're into it...). See you at The CALM!
