I didn't smoke for a month or 2 but then after that i was like an animal around the stuff  |

Somehow, we got ripped off for $20 trying to buy fireworks. Some guy ran off with our money, as we were chasing him, someone said he went down there.. and we followed into an old basement storage area and there he was, cornered like a Rat and we were pissed off. After a brief scuffle, he begged out, but, to our surprise he turned out to be quite a negotiator. He offered us all kinds of stuff in exchange for the money which he said he lost in the chase. No fireworks though, not that time. He wound up giving us a paper bag of some super compressed weed, probably Colombian, about a 1/4 lb worth.... I didn't know anything about Pot at the time. I actually thought Pot was a slang word for some kind of Cigarettes. (this was in 1965). Anyway, I got so high the 1st time I smoked, seeds and all, I fell in love immediately and my life changed forever. FYI, that's about 45 years....and I can't remember a day gone by without a joint or a hit.... Oh btw, I have Arthritis, so I started running a few years ago, to keep limber, now I'm doing more than 2 miles every fucking day! Wanna join me for a joint, a story, and a 2 mile run? In 1970 I was 13, and 3 friends & me rode our bikes to my friends older brother's apt, and we smoked, and smoked, out of a tobbacco pipe, with no stem, they were blowing "shot-guns" thru this half pipe, anyway didnt feel anything, till were riding our bikes back, and I remember thinking, was I just standing up and pedeling, or was I sitting down and trippin? Anyway I liked it a lot, mmj has just been gettin better & better, and I'll probably never quit, but wow that first couple times was intense. And a million and 1 stories... Peace Daysleeper |

Rep Power: 7915 | Re: What year was it and how old were you, the first time you smoked Mari-J? 1987 took a few puffs at lunchtime in school and then went to acient and medevil history class. didnt pay much attention as i was amazed at how i was able to focus and my mind (add/anxiety/depression) and concentrate yet still be creative. (it took some time for me to realize how to use it as a med) this was the only time i smoked at school. i guess i was 16. before i smoked i made sure that week that i read everything i could about the green lady once i did i dtermined it was worth looking into trying for my head issues. the rest is history...i been smoking over 20 years....the only thing i have been doing longer is smoking cigarettes (started when i was 13) and i do have plans to quit when i get some dental work done in the next few months here.. on a side note at 23 i was in a bad car accident i t boned a gal and tore all my right side lower lumbar muscles...the scar tissue tears regularly and causes crazy back pain for me....orginally i guess and i still am a mostly sativa or sativa hybrid soul...but when my back is killin me an indica is the med of choice especially for pain free sleep...when the tissue tears its hard to even tie my shoes, stand up for long periods get out of the car etc....it hurts on a daily basis...some days are better than others....i do have plans to start excercising more when i quit cigs....i do stay active and am in relatively good shape...not overweight etc.. at 16 i knew this was a magical plant...it took a few years for me to discern why and what it does for me...but it changed my life...and over the years has made my quality of life better...since getting my rec it has been even better because for the 1st time in my life i can budget to spend only what i can afford...and i can acquire specific strains that are effective in treating my issues. until that point it was hit or miss...i never knew what i was getting (indica ? sativa?) so it was hit or miss in helping me with my issues..this plant, and now my rec have changed my life for the better.... i dont think it is for every one and on a side note...(more of an opinion) i try to stay away from strains named after other drugs i dont think it helps the cause to name strains after the more deadly and (in most cases) useless non medicinal drugs...i.e. crack meth etc....i have tried things like valium xanax (vicoden is good for dental pain) ambien unisom...but i dont like where these items put me after taking them on the next day.... |

It was in 98, at my cousin pad, in the tree house. taking turns off thin water bottle bong just made horribly with foil as bowl / steam. what made me want to do it was one of my cuz was trying it for the first time, & when he was done with his session, i saw him just jump right out of the treehouse running wild laughing like a crazy mofo, & without giving it another though, i told my other cuz i want whatever the hell he just had, & it was the start of it all. he made me smoke the whole dime of swag with him, i remember passing the bong back & forth coking the whole time. at some point i ask "how much of this shit do we have to smoke??? i don't feel shit man", he respone "just keep hitting that shit". before we were almost done, we just kept looking at each other laughing for no reason trying to finish & that was my first expierence ever.
