'bout twice a week we a have friggin bear goin through my trash. I wake up these summer mornings praying I don't have trash all over my driveway and street. Also my dog goes friggin nuts when he hears the bear, which of course wakes me up.... this usually happens sometime between 1 am and 4 am . I've seen him , I've hollered at him , I left him some Da Bomb hotsauce infused chicken to enjoy , I set off my car alarm. Nothing keeps him away for long. He tends to hit up my house once or twice a week , but you can see other people's trash overturned on other mornings. I swear I'm like the bear whisperer , these big furry bitey things just show up. I live in friggin L.A. , One of the largest cities in the world , not Churchill Manitoba or in the forest somewhere. I've seen deer, raccons , hawks all on a regular basis. The Bears I'm kind of done with. Pardon the rant , but I went outside this morning and it had happened again. I just wanted to contrast the OP's idealic nature post. Thought it was funny. A few more bong loads an I'll be O.K.:cursing: |

Rep Power: 590981 | Re: summer mornings I live right at the base of the Hollywood Hills, in Studio City. On any given night on our street, you can see Raccoons, Possums, Skunks, Coyotes, Owls, and Tree Rats...yep, the entire area has got these friggen Tree Rats, that seem to find their way into everyones attics. We keep the Exterminators and Rat Trap people well employed! Oops! Just remembered this thread was about 'Summer Mornings'! In that case..squirrels, squirrels, and more squirrels! And every once in a while, a deer makes it's way down the hill too! |
