Rep Power: 8277 | Legalizing Marijuana Cuts Crime Legalizing Marijuana the Best Way to Cut Organized Crime?s ?Tentacles? // Current Articles like the above seem to put forth the notion that it will cut crime. I cannot get my brain around that conclusion. I can understand it for those that are in jail because they were caught with marijuana for personal use. If you can get it legally, you would not be prosecuted. But for the sellers, cartels and organized crime, I just do not get it. If you have 100,000 dealers in California that now make their living off selling of marijuana, do we expect them not to be criminasl anymore? To me, IMHO, it means that they will commit crimes in other areas like robberies, car jackings, petty theft and a host of other, perhaps, more victimized crimes. How would the out of work sellers of marijuana support themselves?????? Have a Great Day, Evades |
