I know this is a touchy subject, but I was just curious to see how many different ways Medical Marijuana has helped all of us as Patients! I myself it has helped me in more than one way. I was diagnosed with pinealblastoma about 3 years ago and now I only have a pineal cyst that is benign. I know that it helped get rid of the pinealblastoma as I had no chemo or radiation. It also helps with the pain from chronic back problems and helped with my insomnia also. I could list all the ways it has helped, but I would have to write a book. I hope you all do not think of this thread as prying into personal info. but it will show the many ways Medical Marijuana has helped so many patients!!

MMJ has me 99.9% off my arthritis meds and 100% off Vicodan and other analgesics. My arthritis med is Indocin, which some of you might know is the most powerful anti-inflammatory there is. 100 Indocin used to last me 50 days, and now it lasts almost a year. My Vicodan bottle expired in 2006, and is full.

Indubitably. It cured my back pain so that I sleep better. It helped me adapt to pressure therapies, so...I sleep better. Because I sleep better, I started walking and doing more stuff. Well....for sure it reduces any asthma symptoms I've had to almost nothing. Not being able to breath is worse than sucking ass

It also allowed me to quit taking that damn oxy-whatever-the-fuck that made me dizzy and stupid (MMJ at least stopped the dizziness

) So far I have avoided the back surgery that both my father and grandfather had in their early thirties and I'm pushin 40. Maybe because it really helps me to not stress on things....I'm usually nice and relaxed

Well, when I first got my rec, it was for chronic insomnia and muscle pain (you try hauling amps and guitars up stairs for 30 years or so and see what it does to you), but since then I am being treated for chronic rotator cuff injury, and have been going through some other issues as well.

My doc says not to take anything but Tylenol for pain, since everything else (oxy/vico/whatever) is a blood thinner. MMJ, however, has really helped with this. I do find that I need concentrates at times.......

It's truly a miraculous plant. It's a fine antidote for my migraines and insomnia. It's the only feasible pain relief option I've found for my own personal bouts with chronic pain and arthritis.

Slipped from a high ladder , fell and injuries to neck and right shoulder. That was over 5 years ago and at the current moment the pain still lurks; turning head to the right meets resistance. But MMJ ended up helping me in another important area of my life, that I have come to a relationship with the Lord my God, feeding off the Holy scriptures daily. Ironic to say I feel one with the Almighty. People have brushed it off as me being too high to understand the "ridiculous" feelings I was experiencing . Maybe they're right who knows. But I feel at peace when I am medicated and dwelling in the shadow of his wings.

It has helped me cut down on the use of prescription aqnd non-prescription meds. Being able to grow legaly has cut my costs and is a great hobby that helps me in many other areas also.

without it I would be getting 1-2 hours of sleep a day...Now I almost get normal sleep hours....but without it, I was sick, irritable, and all around not in a great mood...Now I can sleep yay MMJ!!!

Helps me with every little ache and pain I come home with after setting glass 10plus storys high hanging off the swingstage...That and it just overall helps with anxiety and just balances me out.

MMJ has helped me with a myriad of problems. Lower back pain, insomnia, depression, Nausea, menstrual cramps, anxiety. Anytime i feel pain either physically or mentally, i just take a toke and all my symptoms just fade off. It's seriously miraculous.
