and we were supposed to know howww? I must have offended you by saying there weren't too many people. Do you disagree or do you just think i shouldn't have said anything because i didn't protest too?

The point of my post was to point out that the media didn't need to cover this, the public outcry wasn't that apparent. They could have easliy covered something else. I appreciate that they covered it, it deserves more attention. i've seen others complain about how it's just the same people over and over, are you questioning them too? BTW were you at any protests when Bonnie Dumanis raided a bunch of our spots?

I'm sorry if i offended you, it wasn't meant to cut at anyone or belittle the crowd. I just thought more of you guys would be mad about whats happening.

The only reason the media covered the protest was because camera crews were there for another reason and some opportunistic patients buttonholed them. Whoever the news editors are decided to air our little protest because they thought it was entertaining enough.

I try mightily to not be judgmental about a patient's non-appearance at a political protest. There are many good reasons for not attending. However, it is not an exaggeration to say that the whole dispensary system that has evolved in LA is in serious jeopardy. I don't think it is alarmist to believe this. If you think many of us are running around like Chicken Little, then by all means ignore all the issues and stay home waiting for our good public servants to do the right thing. NOT.

Not trying to pass judgement here folks. Sorry if I came across that way. But X's right! This is a very serious situation and I really can't stress that enough. We need all the help we can get and no one's gonna do this for us.
