Rep Power: 914 | Re: Sour Diesel? Id have to say either these co ops dont have a clue what they are selling or that sour d is a indica dominant hybrid. It irratates me to see anyone trying to pass of Sour d as an indica cause it definately isnt. Sour d is by far my favorite med the taste, effects, aroma everything about it i love. Sour diesel is definately a sativa and a very strong one at that. I really like my indicas but sour d is a sativa for sure. The only downfall of this strain is theres not much of a middle ground with it. you end up with stuff thats tight and covered in trichs and it looks amazing or you end up with stuff that looks terrible and smokes even worse. Its a strain that should definately be tested before purchase if the co op allows that NNCC is one and there are others but honestly i havent sour d anywhere else as good as what NNCC gets. I would suggest asking the budtenders about it and if they tell you its an indica i would walk out. I refuse to by meds at a co op that hires bud tender that cant aid you in finding a quality med for you needs. I mean it might seem rude to just walk out but for 50 bux plus the gas and time invested just to get to the co op i expect to atleast talk to a knowledgeable bud tender. and anyone whos smoke sour knows its a sativa. |

That made me burp up my All New Original Formula Coke thru my nose and all over this plastic silverware...and then my potato salad spilled on a compassionate conservative. But we verbally agreed on a partial cease fire so we could come together in peace to fight violence. |

| Re: Sour Diesel? Even Jason King thought Sour D. was indica dom in the first Cannabible. I went to a co-op (now gone) that sold incredible sour D. as an indica dom. I never worry about the indica/sativa thing much because I love them both. Sour D. is Sour D. You know that flavor and that strong buzz. I recently bought an eighth of Sage n' Sour (Sour D. crossed with SAGE - a 50/50 hybrid). I have no idea what its indica/sativa percentages are exactly, but that was some of the best MMJ I've EVER smoked. The Cannabible 3, I think, says Sour Diesel is a cross of Chemdawg and a Massachusetts (did I spell it correctly) Super Skunk, whatever the hell that is. Sour D. is also said to be a "sister" of OG Kush - whatever THAT means. Bottom line - it's (almost always) fantastic. Also, some of these people working at the co-ops are either unaware of the lineage of what they're selling, or they're given wrong information. Good MJ is good MJ, and Sour D. is one of the best. Smoke it! |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Sour Diesel? Thank you for confirming my sanity... My husband has come from 2 different clubs w/ supposed sour d and I swear it was not the same as I remember when I 1st discovered it. Sour d is my FAVORITE. I can eat and sleep and its delicious! somthing weirds going on; the medicine brought home had similar effects, it does enable me to eat...maybe its just a strong sativa but the taste and smell are not the deliciousness that I remember...I think yr onto something. Rep Power: 81135 | Re: Sour Diesel? The Sour Deez is muy popular. Therefore, there are some snake oil salesmen that slap the Sour D name on any old thing. Seniorlou is correct if grown right, the best, grown poorly and it taste like HAY. This complicates matters. The smell of properly grown Sour D is very had to mistake. Trust your nose! If you never tried it Que lastima. |

Rep Power: 87905 | I've got some of the nicest Sour D. right now. It is very dense and delicious, this is one of my favorite sativas. It has very strong effects, so I can see why people would try to sell it as an indica to people who just want powerfull meds and think that sativas lack in potency. good, more for me...:slaugh: I love sativas. |
