SD City Council to hear medical marijuana testimony at the Public and Safety Committee Meeting on July 8th @2pm

Rudy Reyes and Wendy Christakes visited San Diego City Council this morning and spoke during public comment. Both Rudy and Wendy gave compelling and powerful speeches to the council regarding medical marijuana rights.

Rudy and Wendy asked the Council not to wait for the County Board and DA approval on regulations for Medical Cannabis Collectives, and Individual Patient Rights.
After the meeting council member Marti Emerald announced to the public that the City Council will be hearing the medical marijuana testimony at the Public and Safety Committee Meeting on July 8th @2pm. '

Council member Marti Emerald politely thanked Rudy for sharing his situation with the
City Council, and for being candid about his injuries so the council could understand the relevance of creating safe access for medical cannabis patients.

Rudy has been unoficially asked to advise the office of Marti Emerald on the issue of medical cannabis patient collectives and individual cannabis patient rights.
