hello WT I wanted to start a thread for patients with bipolar to share what strains of medical cannabis work best for them-
for me i really enjoy a good sativa dominant strain when i am too depressed or lethargic to function-some examples of good sativa strains for me include: trainwreck, jack herer, cali mist, great white shark, durban poison, sour diesel, lemon diesel-
i find that it is good to avoid these sativa strains when i am anxious or nervous, as they might add to my anxiety-
it is a tricky balance to find-but it is possible-
for when i am anxious, nervous, scared, racing thoughts-i find a good indica dominant strain helps me
some examples of indica strains that help me are:
og kush, gdp, any good purps, blue dream, bubba kush, tahoe kush, diamond og kush

i hope this is a good start to a thread that will help educate bipolar patients about what meds may or may not work to help us heal!
