Rep Power: 538 | A friend of mine told me last night that a doctor was curing HIV patients with bone marrow transplants. I told him I had heavy doubts on the procedure, as for them to even be considered for a bone marrow transplant, they'd have to have Leukemia. Needless to say, he and I got into it, and I told him that the only way I could see that an HIV patient would be exposed to something so traumatic, would be if Leukemia was killing them, and the doctor gave them donor bone marrow, from someone resistant, or something. But, I'm skeptical, after losing so many friends over the years. I had him send me the article, and I was pleasantly surprised - it's a side effect of being treated for Leukemia, it wasn't the goal of the doctor to cure them, the bone marrow and such quit producing the virus! Here's the article; whereas I don't consider it a cure for the general public, it IS on the right track, for the Potential Cure for Aids/HIV!! Read on, and feel hope: Potential Cure for Aids If someone can get the illustrations and all, I didn't know how to post it, and keep credit for everyone involved. Have a wonderful week! |
