| Eye Condition : Pinguecula. Yellow/white spot on eye Hey all, (not really mmj related) I have what's called Pinguecula: A pinguecula (pin gwe' cue la) is a benign, yellowish growth that forms on the conjunctiva. They usually grow near the cornea on the nasal side. Pingueculae (plural form of pinguecula) are thought to be caused by ultraviolet light and are most common among people who spend a great deal of time outdoors. A lot of my family also has them. Whenever i smoke at night, and wake up in the morning my left eye hurts so bad. I can't even open it. I usually just keep it shut until i could find some eye drops or if i make it to the shower.
