I've searched long and hard on this topic and it seems like all the information available online suggests that it does NOT affect your skin, BUT i must say that when I go a lengthy period of time without smoking, my skin is definitely better. i dont understand. i smoke, i break out, and the pimples dont go away as fast. BUT, when im not smoking i dont breakout as often and if i do, it goes away fairly quickly. whats the problem here? anyone else have similar experiences? |

I have 2 theories as towards why smoking can cause an increase in acne. 1st- smoking clogs pores, just like dirt 2nd- smoking has been shown to affect endocrine hormones (sex hormones). So, a fluctuation in hormones may also affect acne. |

The proteins and omega oils will oxygenate your skin heavily so you'll see less clogging and less zits! It's worked wonders for my skin! Also, the water you shower in is critical. If there's too many chemicals, it'll dry out your skin and cause clogging. If it's the water, try and find a soap that works best with your water. Last bit o' advice, shower with warmer water, not hotter water. The hotter water will wash away essential oils and, agi'n, cause clogging! oh...high fructose corn syrup, it's in most processed drinks. It drys you out, bad. Stay away from the high fructose corn syrup! |

They're a lot grosser than you'd think, and pressing something dirty like that against your face can cause acne much in the same way that people get acne from holding their phones too close to their face. Also if you're getting the munchies and eating crap and then touching your face with greasy fingers, that can clog pores and lead to pimples. But smoking marijuana does not cause breakouts. poor hygiene and hormones (especially if you're a girl) do though. |

Rep Power: 1023 | Re: Does marijuana cause or worsen acne? thx for all the advice! im gonna try it out and see what happens. i didnt know about hemp protein powder. that sounds really cool. may need that... not enough chocolates~! haha i dont have a vape, but i really wanna get one. does anyone else really think that it could be clogging my pores, as they say? so if i vape, it wont, and i shudnt break out as much? true? |
