your thoughts... PS3 or X-Box
Im dying to upgrade my gaming system but i cant decide which one to go with. The Playstation 3 or X-Box. I want the ps3 because of the blueray and i am a playstation junkie. Then i think about the x-box because they have more games and the games are a little bit better. I hate the x-box controller though, playstations controller is way better

dude! i got u on this one. believe me i am a hardcore gamer! I had teh same problem but found one thing to make the deciding factor....

Go with PS3...online gaming = FREE!!!!

why pay for it when u dont have to right? plus since ur a Playstion junkie like me, and the xblx controller does blow, just do it man.

believe me i just might. im like 70/30 on it. The fact that x-box charges for online and ps3 doesnt is a big factor.

I'd say get the 360 mainly because its the overall better value. But be warned, make sure you buy a Jasper Model. Its the only Xbox 360 model that wont self destruct after 6 months. (ok that's not entirely true, the earlier Falcon model is also very reliable.)

However, if you're a big fan of the PlayStation legacy, and many people are including myself, then you should follow your heart and go with the PS3.

Honestly though, the best sollution is to own both. The two systems compliment each other well.

My vote is for PS3. Reasons for this are as follows...

XBox is a great platform with a plethora of games compared to PS3 but the system itself is not reliable. Yes, Microsoft will replace or fix your unit but who wants to ship back and forth to manufactuer.

PS3 graphics are superior to XBOX.

To top it all off PS3 price is dropping. $299.99.

For sure, when the Madden XX anni edition came out i was still working and it's AWESOME on 360, i also have a couple of Tennis games, Baseball 2K7, 2 hockey games and FIFA 06,07 and 08 Lots of fun!

xbox charges to play online
ps 3 is free online

i play online 99% of the time, so that was a large factor

ps3 has better graphics
and great games are comming out this year for ps3

I went through the same predicament, so did my buddy. He bought the xbox then a month later got the ps3. Xbox systems have been having problems since the day they were released. Its Microsoft, quality and longevity has never been their tactics in making products.

IMO what it comes down to, is what games you like most, and where they are at.
