Rep Power: 215 | Sims 3, anyone? I am totally loving this new Sims game. I can easily spend 8 hours playing. Is that crazy? Yes, why am I asking? Who likes to play? Even the old ones were awesome. |

Rep Power: 215 | Re: Sims 3, anyone? Yes! I mean, I thought the attention to detail and the gameplay of Sims 2 was something spectacular... but Sims 3 is just brilliant. Now I'm having withdrawal from it! My pc recently decided to crap out on me and my spare tower doesn't have the right video card to handle the awesomometer overload of Sims 3. I'm pretty bummed out about it and need to find a proper video card ASAP. |

Rep Power: 146930 | Re: Sims 3, anyone? I'v lost years off and on with all 3 of the Sims so far. Tend to set the independence level to 2/3 and let the game run on my laptop all day. As I work on other things I keep checking on my sim to make sure he isn't dead.....you wouldn't believe how many of these dumb asses die because they try to make something too complex and burn to death.......I am haunted by their screams..... Favorite thing to do in sims3? Picking up girls at the gym then taking them to the dayspa for massages....big pimpin'....haha! Priceless.:001_tongue: |

I'm so bummed. I've never even thought about letting my sims go off on their own. These morons find all kinds of ways to kill themselves. But my morbid sense of humor finds it amusing. In the sims 2, I loved letting my cow plant swallow people up. I found the whole necromancer ritual -D | |

Rep Power: 1871 | Love the Sims, can play for hours, so I am afraid to ask.... What is so cool about Sims 3? Don't know if I really want to know because I'll probably run out and buy it and then lose many hours sitting at my computer..... Thanks! :001_smile: |

Rep Power: 215 | Re: Sims 3, anyone? Did you ever get a chance to play Sims 2? It was a huge upgrade from the game play of the first Sims game. As for 3, there's a lot more customization for the characters personalities, traits and appearance, and the attention to detail is incredible. |

Rep Power: 146930 | Re: Sims 3, anyone? You can walk out your front door and down the block meeting people the entire way. Knock on people's doors, meet them, and be invited inside, unless you are rude with opens a whole new world of possibilities.... Able to partially control what your sim does while at work. Far more downtown interactions/things to do. Want be a doctor? Go to the hospital and apply for a job. Want to work out? Go to the gym and use their equipment while meeting other sims. Like 5 times the options as far as talking/interacting with other sims goes. For instance make your sim hotheaded and you can now randomly pick fights with people and insult their mothers! Charismatic sims can always drop a good pick up line, and flirt. You can place objects diagonally on squares, and make your house self-cleaning with enough skill. Really a massive improvement in the game...:001_wub: Last edited by cephas; 07-20-2009 at 01:55 PM.. |

Rep Power: 1871 | OMG, hotheaded sims!!!! Meeting people while walking down the street. Sounds like a blast. Now if you can only train those pets gone wild..... Thanks folks! I'm going to get this as soon as I can. Self cleaning house! This sounds wonderful. Peace! |

Rep Power: 146930 | Re: Sims 3, anyone? OK so I just realized with a high enough charisma, you can walk up to random sims on the street and ask them if they are single, if the answer is yes you can drop a pick up line and start making out with them in public, if the answer is no you can insult them till they start crying then walk away.........HA I love it!!!!! OH, and you build charisma by talking to other sims, not just practicing in the mirror, awesome! Last edited by cephas; 07-20-2009 at 06:39 PM.. |
