Rep Power: 572     | Resident Evil 5 vs. Left 4 Dead I played the RE5 demo today and I must say that compared to L4D, RE5 sucks major balls. RE5 is the shwag of video games and L4D is the OG Kush. Hell, I think the Nazi Zombie mode in Call of Duty: World at War is better than RE5. I dunno, play the demo (from what i hear they released it for Xbox only) and see for yourself. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Resident Evil 5 vs. Left 4 Dead Left4Dead is the winner. RE5 is fun, but being able to participate in live multiplayer zombie survival coop is much better. Nothing like being able to play with 3 friends and just destroy zombies in campaign mode, and even better, play as the infected in versus mode. Store mode is good, fast pace, not slow and fumbly like RE5... Besides, wtf is it with RE and this voodoo zombie nonsense? Wasn't that RE4 too?  Left4dead = owns all. |

If you are into the story and gameplay of RE then I would say it would win. L4D is good however it really is not much of a STORY per say. More of just an online game. I really enjoyed RE5 mostly due to the story. I do however miss the early games :( RE1,2,3 ect |

I love seeing how the franchise has evolved over the years. And the evolution isn't done yet. I'm sure RE will continue to advance and improve. RE Fan 4Ever! |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Resident Evil 5 vs. Left 4 Dead I cant say I own both of these,but I have played them both and I would say Left 4 Dead is the better choice if your looking for good zombie slaying,but if you want good zombie slaying with a nice plot then I would choose Resident Evil 5.I would always prefer Resident Evil over any gome though only for the simple truth that it is a great series of undead slaughter. |
