Rep Power: 1056 | This experience has not been all too fun for me. I own an HP "gaming" laptop. More specifically THIS one. [I hope that shows all the specs needed!] I simply want World of Warcraft to run. After finding the incompetence of the extremely outdated drivers that HP offers, I found through Google third-party programs which enable the best updating for laptops. I found what I needed to in regards to the proper drivers. No problem there, but after using the sweep program to clean the old video drivers, the new ones would NOT install! So now my laptop has no video drivers--I don't know how to handle this. Gamers, I know you tinker with the CPUs a lot, help me out here |

Rep Power: 10500 | Re: Newbie @ Laptop Drivers -- HELP!! Without really looking into it I am going to suggest you check here. NVIDIA & Laptop News | Latest NVIDIA drivers and related news | laptopvideo2go.com A lot of times you will find that GPUs for laptops want specific manufacturer only drivers. I had the same problem with my dell and found some drivers that would install from that site, plus if you search their forum I bet you find your exact issue and how to resolve it. |
