Went on youtube and found a glitch for CoD4 thats called an elevator (I'm sure I am the only one left that hasn't heard of them) and tried it myself. They say it can be done without anything added. (I have X360 & NO XBOX Live, No downloaded content)

First: Are they even possible? (I tried the one in the Crash multiplayer lever cause I don't have any downloaded maps, you know the jump from fridge to dumpster, and I couldn't even bridge the gap between the two objects.)

Second: If they are possible, could someone identify the levels (original ones) that have them? (I know that Backlot has 2, Half-wall under stairs and the jump off the 3rd floor to the tree; The Crash level is explained in the first question, and thats all I have found.)

Third: Can someone please explain how to initiate the "elevator move" once in place?

Oh, btw, does anyone know if the button cheats for customizing guns offline works --> RB] + [LB] and the [Y], [X], [X], [B], [Y], [X], [A].

It's all about using rockets. Shoot em toward the ground while you are mid-jump.

THIS IS NOT EASY

It does work as easily as they show on YouTube, however it is NOT as easily executed. It is pure timing, and the frame of time that you have to work with is incredibly small. My brother used to be DECENT at it and he spent hours practicing just the shot.


This is the only "elevator" glitch I've heard of, I hope this covers the same topic.
