Good morning guys and gals. It's Thursday so I thought I'd post a riddle for ya.

First correct answer posted wins today's prize - please don't edit your answers, post second and third guesses in a new post.

Here goes...

Two masked men robbed a bank, but they were very quickly picked up by the police. Why?

The Fashion Police arrested them because masks went out with the Hula Hoop.

the police were in abundance at the bank to strike intimidation and fear to those unwary patrons of the bank. as the 2 masked men entered the bank, the police were like "omg bank robbers" so they proceeded to tie up the robbers back to back, then bring in a crane where the 2 robbers were hoisted and picked up into the air.

or is the answer turtle?

Because they got high and just sat in the vault with all the money, throwing it at each other, rubbing it all over themselves, rolling around it it, like 2 happy doggies!

or were the police officers cashing their checks therefore in range and proximity to prevent the bank robbery?

but then again, most police officers probably have direct deposit and sit at winchells with coffee and bear claws.

nope... the robbers did make their getaway... but got caught almost right away.

there were NO police IN the bank.

They were stupid robbers. They hitch-hiked after the robbery and were picked up by the Paddy Wagon.

these robbers fleeing the scene, thought jumping on public transportation would insure a proper getaway. as they sat and waited for the 70 eastbound metro, but they accidentally jumped on the wrong bus which was actually headed to a police officer bbq sunday picnic.

I wasn't making a joke. You hurt my feelings. I am always serious on WT boards. I cry discrimination. TUS is against LCD folks like myself. Sorry, TUS, not all of us graduated with honors from Harvard.
