I found a cheap crock pot / slow cooker in my garage, small & cheap. I want to experience MMJ in edible, but I'm an idiot. Tried firecrackers, they didn't work. Tried to make tincure (hot method) didn't work.

What is the easiest way to make cannabis oil? I don't care about taste or bad fats. I just want the easiest way of making cannabis oil. Not butter so much because it needs to be refridgerated. I'd like to go with an oil I can store in my liquor cabinet.

Can I drink the oil from a teaspoon?
Can I dunk bread in it?
Or do I have to cook with it?

I have a crockpot/slow cooker and I think I can work that. I'd like to make something potent using an 8th of ground up bud. Please explain this to me like I am an idiot. Times, tempatures, etc.

I've heard of people just putting ground but in olive oil and waiting a week or so, but that doesn't sound right.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I have tried several ways of making edibles and tincture that weren't worth the trouble. Last month I bought an $8 crock pot and had the same idea as you. I put canola oil in a glass cup with vapor poo from the volcano and a few hash crumbs. I placed the cup in a bath of water in the covered crock pot. The water should keep the cheap crock and the herb from overheating. I set the crock to high for a couple hours and then reduced it to the lower setting for about 8 hours and then turned it off. Repeated that 2 more days. Then I used a paper coffee filter in a funnel to strain the oil into a bottle, takes a couple hours, but set it up and forget it like the crock. I made some great brownies with the oil. 2 to 3 put me to sleep for 10 hours. The oil has a weed taste so I added some vanilla extract and choc chips to the brownies to mask it. If you're not in a hurry this is any easy method that worked for me.
