Rep Power: 215 | Vegans and Vegetarians! How many of you guys are Vegan or Vegetarian, and for how long? How many of you think you'll maintain this lifestyle for good? What are some of your favorite foods? I've been vegan for a little under a year, but have been vegetarian for 5 years. I'm more than sure I'll never eat meat (intentionally) again in this lifetime. I also love cooking and veganizing all the stuff I loved eating before I gave up meat. Recently I made Chikun Pot Pie (no pun intended) and it was awesome! Tasty and cruelty free. Has anyone concocted a tasty MMJ edible that vegans can eat (no dairy, no eggs, no honey)? Also, to the non-vegetarians... be nice! I know you guys love your steaks...:001_tt1: -D |

I love to cook vegan edibles and I do know a couple of delicious recipes. I had a Raspberry French Chocolate Cake for my birthday this year that was medicated and it was delicious! It had a raspberry spread across the top and it was so rich and good with a glass of soy milk to wash it down. I know tons of other recipes and my girlfriend can veganize anything. |

Rep Power: 20363 | Re: Vegans and Vegetarians! My GF turned Vegan about two years ago. Since then, as it turns out, she has an incredible talent for Vegan baking! Lucky break for me as I have great munchies every night!! Apparently, she is such a talented baker, that tons of investors have been seeking her out to start her own bakery!! It's insane! Unfortunately, she likes doing it as a hobby, and not as a career... So my dreams of being a kept man are put off for a little longer... We have started to experiment baking many Vegan edibles. So far, not one complaint yet! Not even from non vegans (like myself)! Hopefully soon, we will start bringing some Vegan edibles to the collectives for patients! |

Rep Power: 24 | Re: Vegans and Vegetarians! The oil in the cake was the medicated element. A club in the Long Beach area, H.A.C., after speaking with me about veganism was kind enough to begin stocking Olive Oil that had already been prepared. That's what I made the cake out of. Last week though I prepared my own Olive Oil with about 7 or 8 grams of schwag. The key with the oil is to slow cook it. |

Rep Power: 24 | Re: Vegans and Vegetarians! I will be vegan for the rest of my life. Some of my favorite foods are eggplant and potato pizza, potato leek soup, soyrizo and eggs, sopita, basically I enjoy every single food I eat. I don't think I have ever eaten a food I didn't enjoy. |

Cheese is something I miss on occasion, but I've come across a really bitchin' substitute: Daiya cheese. It's gooey and melty like cheese. I can't get over it. It needs to take over the world. Soyrizo is awesome! I prefer it over regular chorizo any day. -D

Don't think I've tried any Heartline products. I have tried Stonewall Jerquee, which I think is a Lumens Food product. Nice and chewy, those things. -D

My diet right now is based on the book 80/10/10, i really recommend it if your into sports and nutrition. I have never felt better or had more energy in my life and i live on the most tasty food on the earth (sweet fruits :P ) |

There's so much amazing flavor inside of fruits and veggies. And they are beautiful too! Mother Nature did a great job on making them so appealing... it's like they are singing a siren song "Eat me! I'm pretty and good for you!" -D

Rep Power: 17 | Re: Vegans and Vegetarians! If you get honey that is truly raw it is a lot better for you then agave(healthwise). Also most Raw agave sold in health stores is pretty much the equivalent of high fructose corn syrup. Bees actually make an excess of honey and if the beekeeper does it right there is no "stealing" involved. |

Don't take it personally but vegans calling honey cruel is one of the most ridiculous things I've heard. Vegans - we only kill and eat living things that don't have a face.

Rep Power: 17 | Re: Vegans and Vegetarians! A little tip for you guys cus it seems like alot of you eat tons of soy, Eat soy in moderation!!! 90% of soy is from gmo crops and soy is loaded with phytoestrogens. The phytoestrogen turns women into mega pms bitches and men into metrosexuals, the reason we have so many gay people/metro sexuals now a days is mainly due to soy |

Rep Power: 1897 | Re: Vegans and Vegetarians! I've been a vegetarian since I was about 6 or 7 years old (I'm 22 now) I have no idea what made me stop eating meat because I don't remember. All I know is that now meat is kinda on the same level with dirt and sticks, cause I just don't see it as food and it doesn't cross my mind to even eat it and I'm not grossed out by it. That's really the best way I can describe it. Anyways, I hate people that eat meat and try to shove it in my face like "OHHHHHMIGAWD dis is the most delicious hamburger EVVVVVVVVER MMMMM BLOODY MEAT AND DEAD ANIMALS MMmmmmmmmmmmmmmm." It doesn't make me go into a SAVE THE ANIMALS/MEAT IS MURDER rage, it just annoys me cause I wish they'd stop acting like a little kid and eat their damn hamburger, I don't care about what anyone else is having for lunch! On a side note... lol does anyone know why there's so many cow smilies? |

Rep Power: 989 | Re: Vegans and Vegetarians! I consider myself a "flexaterian" I made that word up, It means that I mainly adhere to an organic diet for my temple,80% of my diet is non meat, I love some raw foods(vegan)10%, and 10% has to be junk. Cooking is not the best for me, blending works better. I developed 24 different organic chocolates using a hemp paste I developed, now through the use of super critical co2 fluid extraction I will be researching the dosage for those chocolates. Imagine medicating and health at the same time. |

Rep Power: 24 | Re: Vegans and Vegetarians! When I said soyrizo and eggs I meant soyrizo and the silken tofu with a little tumeric to make it look yellow. I try to speak in a "vegan" context so that I don't go missing old foods I usedd to love. So when I said eggs it meant completely vegetarian tofu ;) vegan power! |
