So, Saturday Morning, got the coffee brewing and you're staring at the box of pizza from last night. Inside there's all that cheesy goodness covered in 6 to 8 hours worth of fresh microbial growth. Skarf it down cold or reheat it ?

If its left out for one night I'll eat it at room temp. Not cold and not warmed up, it tastes weird when you rewarm it, LOL!

I like cold pizza. Anyway, it was hot the night before and we have to give cold a chance. I always use the 8 hour rule with pizza. After that is's outa here.

Mmm cold pizza is daaaank. But reheating pizza in a toaster oven, or the microwave then oven reheating method is just as good. Yummm. I'm ready for some food now

Just to clarify, cold to me is more or less room temp in this instance, since it was on the counter and not in the fridge. If it was in the fridge it's safe for about 48 hours after delivery,no worries I'll still eat it that cold. Room temp within twelve hours of delivery and then a healthy dose of my own homemade hot sauce. and coffee, lots and lots of coffee.......

I like to reheat it in a skillet...makes the crust crunchy. Room temp is acceptable, but not cold from the fridge (ugh). Of course it rarely comes up, as my dogs would kill for pizza! They don't care at all what the temp is.

after working at pizza hut..round table..dominos..and some mom an pop shops..

ILL dress it up with more fresh cheese..mabie some meat.

then pan cook with a little butter..dont foregt thr parmisan cheese and peppers.

What "left-over" pizza? I alwas thought this to be an "Urban Legend".
Cause there is never any around here,.... burp!
BTW you are on the right track as far as microbes go, but they vastly multiply in just two hours at room temp! So if you have any meat products on em beware! Same for potato salad on Labor Day picnics place it in a bowl of ice and monitor temps.
The "Danger Zone" for foods; between 40F and 140f !!!
So be over that or under. I know you've done it before, but you probably didn't wash your hands a couple times too and ya ain't dead yet, right! LOL
I love Abbot Kinneys pizza in Venice or across from SMC!!

The truth is that I am a switch hitter when it comes to pizza. If I am seriously starving for munch cold will do, but really prefer it warmed in oven. Often I cannot wait long enough and it is warm until you get to the center of the pc. and then it can be slightly cold and a let down for my taste buds which feel like they have had a p.t. (pizza tease) from the original yum. Hate being teased by a pizza. Better a man for this old cougar.....Miles of smiles to all!

Preferably room temperature but straight out the fridge is ok too.

Its just gotta be a stuffed crust with peperoni, sausage and mushrooms and it has to be completly cold, you know, next day-wake up-get some orange juice-and oh whats this-in the foil wrapper kinda of cold.

i love leftover pizza and sometimes i think its sooooo much better only because when i heat mine up...

i use a non-stick pan and put a little bit of butter and heat the pizza that way... ON THE PAN so its not soggy!!! lol

try it and you will never heat up pizza again any other way! =)

so it might take a little longer than the microwave or toaster oven....BUT its totally worth it!
