Rep Power: 572 | Good places to eat near your favorite co-op. Well, I finally got what i wanted! haha. anyways i really haven't been to a spot where they have a good place to eat after i get some meds. So the reason i post this is to get some good ideas for when i go to LA or LB since it is kind of far i get hungry and would like to kind of "hit two birds with one stone" Since herb usually leads us to food i would like to know where a good place to eat near your favorite clubs. Fast food is okay, but I'm looking for the true "hole in the wall (HITW)" kind of places and most of us know they got good eats at the HITWs. As i sit here trying to think of a HITW Ive been to near a club, i cant think of one, so ill tell you all about a place i know in Costa Mesa. Its called "El Toro Bravo" and for 2 or 3 dollars you get one of those small tortillas filled with what seems like a half pound of your meat of choice...I myself get three...i can only eat two but i get three just so i can eat one when i get the late night munchies....Also my buddy got a burrito from them and he could barely finish that beast. I hope i don't break any TOS by posting where this place is. Its across from the costa mesa DMV at 739 W 19th St. Seriously if your in the area try this place. |

They specialize in grilled chicken & garlic mashed potatoes. AWESOME! They have other standard middle eastern food as well. |

Rep Power: 751 | Re: Good places to eat near your favorite co-op. On Lincoln Blvd. near Rose Ave. in Venice, there's a little hole-in-the-wall Mexican seafood joint called La Playita. They have great (and cheap!) ceviche, shrimp cocktails, fish tacos, etc. They have good beef tacos and burritos, too. |

Rep Power: 40635 | Re: Good places to eat near your favorite co-op. The best Mexican on the west-side is 3 doors down from P+B Collective. They are called Don Antonio's (been around for like 60 years!) and Tulpa is right next door (been around for like 50 years!). There are 100's of patrons that visit every night and they have specials for taco days and margarita days. We highly highly recommend these places to eat. Enjoy those fresh out of the oven tortilla chips :001_wub: |
