Munc ARAX on santa monica/normandie. great falafel and schwarma. for thai, i like ruen pair on hollywood between normandie & western. (still haven't tried jitlada on vermont/hollywood. supposed to be outstanding) mario's peruvian on vine/rossmore and melrose. lou on vine and melrose (great wine bar/small plates) larchmont larder on larchmont @ melrose. excellent salads and sandwiches tere's on melrose/vine or cactus for mexican on vine north of melrose hungry cat @ sunset/highland for sea food/cocktails village pizza on larchmont for decent NY pies sam's bagels on larchmont for some of the best bagels in LA park's for korean bbq vermont i think @ olympic tommy burger --the original location on beverly/rampart for double chili burgers |

Munc i would say the best thing to get(at this point in time for me) would be 4 al pastor tacos, with onion, cliantro, green chile, salt and lime from a taco truck that you see all over LA, theres a catch though...its gotta have one of these. pit roasted pork tacos are to die for.  |

Unlimited Korean BBQ for 9.99(lunch) and 16.99(dinner) Lunch gives you unlimited amounts of beef brisket, pork belly, and chicken. Dinner gives you an unlimited amount of kalbi, beef brisket, topsirloin steak, squid, ribeye, chicken, pork belly, octopus, etc... Santouka Ramen in Mitsuwa Marketplace in Carson has the most amazing ramen in the west coast. Seriously, if you like ramen you must visit Santouka. I could go on but I'm getting hungry! |

Munc La Brea Bakery on Le Brea near Wilshire: Best grilled cheese sandwich Der Weinerschnitzel: one plain hotdog, 237 calories and $1.07 not a bad hot dog, either, take that, long lines at Pinks! Mozza pizza. You can't get it to go and the place is always a zoo but it is the best pizza ever. Anything in Sweet Lady Jane's swear to God, the BEST junk food on the face of the planet. Also hot buttered popcorn - not the microwave kind the real kind, with fresh hot butter. Also salt. |

Munc It's funny I hardly go to Pinks unless the line is small which is rare but I get a kick of people driving by and yelling " It's just a hot dog " HA HA HA yeah i do it too in hope people will leave the line LOL ! But across the corner a bit down Labrea from Pinks is also THE PIG which is a great BBQ place now im getting hungry again... |
