Rep Power: 614 | deboning fish alright,i,know,theres,a,lot,of,chefs/outdoorsmen/women,on,here. i,got,some,black,cod,from,fish,king,in,glendale,bu t,i,was,stupid,and,didnt have,them,take,out,the,bones... its,not,like,a,whole,fish,with,a,head-its,like,a,filet,but,with,the,skin,still,on,one,si de and,bones,running,down,the,other,side is,it,easiest,just,to,wait,until,after,the,fish,is ,cooked,and,then,remove,the,bones? i,understand,this,way,wont,leave,the,fish,looking, gorgeous. do,i,bake,it,with,the,skin,on,or,should,i,remove,t hat,as,well? thaaaaaaaaaanks. love,itchy |

Rep Power: 11 | Re: deboning fish bake with skin on is o.k. i think the skin adds flavor. if you dont want to leave the bones in, u can use a pair of needle nose pliers to remove them. just run your hand along the fillet. when you feel them gat a firm grip and pluck them out. |
