actually the hitching post in buellton (made famous in the movie "sideways") still uses beef fat for their fries. i like their steak "greek style" w/ some fries and a glass of their own HP pinot noir.........mmmmmmmmmmm. i would imagine that those sideways crowds have died down by now (hopefully).

Jack in the Box for Curly fries. Their regular fries are fat, but lack crispy-ness.

for the best fries all around i would have to say Boardz Grille. I was there the other day and damn delicious fat crispy french fries with ranch or ketchup..DANK!!

I voted for In n Out but.....the best fries I think I have ever had....

are at Dodger Stadium and they are the Gordon Birsch garlic fries!!!!!

OMG they are so freeking good! I always sneak in a fork to get all that yummy garlic goodness!!! They are a must at every Dodger Game!!!

Mmmm I do love me some fries when I get medicated! I'm gonna have to agree with multiple people here, In-N-Out has some of the greatest fries, especially animal style. Yummy! Burger King fries, Jack In The Box curly fries and Connal's [in Pasadena] zucchini fries also hit the spot!

Daglas on Winnetka and Vanowen is by far the best fries in the valley, a large order of fries there is enough to feed 4 comfortably lol. They take an entire tray and fill it up like 2 inches high. It is incredible.
