Rep Power: 4028 | I love to BBQ. I'm looking for some grill secrets or meat marinades. I'll share one I learned from another grill freak. For teriyaki chicken I use this marinade called JES Korean BBQ Marinade and sauce. I let the chicken sit for a few hours in the marinade then i toss it on the grill, the cooking time depends on if it's boneless or not. The whole time the chicken is cooking I keep adding sauce, when it's done i chop up the chicken and serve it on top of white rice... I'm going to be grilling some carne asada up this weekend anyone got a good marinade? |

Rep Power: 73654 | Try & sprinkle just a bit of Kosher salt on your beef, 30 mins b4 the BBQ. That's all you need on a good cut of Beef- ( you will get the real flavor ) I was skeptical, till I tried it. Works great on Burgers too !! PEACE- STEVE-O |

Rep Power: 5386 | Re: Anyone have any good grill technics or marinades??? I'm with you on that but the sriracha is really hot. So I put the meat in a diluted mixture of sriracha and water and let sit overnight then grill next day. Not so hot and full of flavor. Works great on pork tenderloin too. |

Rep Power: 10261 | Re: Anyone have any good grill technics or marinades??? Freshly caught abalone, removed from the shell and lightly tenderized. Sprinkled with salt and pepper. Then I take some kelp, because I always bring back some kelp with my abalone for this very reason. Take some kelp, lay it over the hot grill, then put the ab on it and cover. When it's done, just slice and eat with wasabi and soy, tabasco or plain is good too. If it's all fresh it should taste fine on it's own. |

Rep Power: 9458 | Re: Anyone have any good grill technics or marinades??? Another treat for Kebob lovers is to take chunks of Lamb, wrapped around a whole garlic clove & mint leaf, then skewered. The lamb should be basted with balsalmic then coated in x-virgin olive oil, rolled in italian spice mix and grilled crispy. |

Rep Power: 6273 | there two styles of BBQ that i'm most familiar with are with. The OriginaL gets glazed and the CarneAsada just comes out flavoured.. but since i never hear anyone ask, i'll assume u meant American Style BBQ.. soak overnight in orange juice. BLEND some onion, garlic, orange juice (tomato paste or ketchup and brown sugar to thicken/taste) add cayenne, blk pepper and salt.. and marinade and 4-8 hours before grilling i like to GRILL med-high so it Sizzles, but not so that it dries, just so that there is an index of light brown to seared edges.. add a few drops of cannaoil* and serve other ways use adobo, sazon, safron, mole.. mmm getting hungry now im sure your way you will come up with will come out well, dont hesitate :) |

Rep Power: 95669 | Re: Anyone have any good grill technics or marinades??? I did this last night, a KiefBurger. So I took out two handfulls of ground turkey and formed burger pattys and set aside, in a small bowl I placed a small handfull of grated cheese and a gram of kief and put it in the microwave for 25 seconds to get it all melty and gooey and mixed together, now spoon out the cheese/kief onto one of the burgers, now place the other burger on top, now around the edges of the burgers pinch the edges together to help hold the cheese in while you cook it. Now throw it on the grill like normal, every bite is an explosion of cheesy kiefy goodness, good stuff! |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Anyone have any good grill technics or marinades??? Before I BBQ like to soak my ribs in apple cider vinegar or your choice of red wine or red wine vinegar. The acidity levels in the vinegar and wine break down the meats tissue making it tender. The longer the better. Also add a little bit of liquid smoke and garlic to the marinade to give it a little aroma. After marinating, discard marinade and season meat to your liking. Do not baste meat with the apple cider |
