Greetings all.

My partner and I are going back and forth about the movie "Grandma's Boy" and whether it belongs on the top 10 all time list. My buddy thinks, it does (What is he smokin on, FOR REAL?!!!!!) Anyway to prove a point, what are your ALL TIME top 10 pot movies. Not stoner movies like "The Matrix" or "Ace Ventura" but marijuana themed movies like "Up in Smoke" or "Pineapple Express"

Most of the Cheech and Chongs I count all their movies one.
Grandma's Boy (It's definetly a stoner movie when it involves the creation of wicked weed names... "Frankenstein" "The Deer Bud" not to mention the classic stoned scene when they roll all the bud in one fat ass blunt and the dudes trippin out with the monkey. Face it the movie is a Classic)
Pineapple Express
Half-Baked
The first Harold and Kumar... (only cuz the whole purpose of the movie was to score some more herbs and satisfy the munchies)
"Humbolt County"
"Dazed and Confused"

I can't think of any more... hahaha

I like some of the more obscure movies, like Rolling Kansas and Homegrown. SuperHighMe and Pineapple express knocked it down two spots so it might've just slipped out of the top 10.

You liked Up In Smoke so much it made the list twice? Or were you up in smoke when you made the list?

I can't think of any more to add than those titles already mentioned, except to put "Humboldt County" at the top of my list. That one really got to me.

OK - I had to go look that one up to see what it was about, and I think you must have meant "Saving Grace" (2000) which does have Craig Ferguson and Linda Blethyn in it? Looks like a good one, if I got it right.

Saving Grace IS good & funny, too . . . even though it starts out kinda slow . . . but be patient, it gets better!! How about the old movie, Reefer Madness (now colorized with strange colors!)? =Judy=

Wow! You're right. I've been calling it "Amazing Grace" for years, no wonder no one heard of it. "Saving Grace" LOL Well, thanks, it is super funny and there's a cool scene where they reveal this great plant!

And a new contender emerged... Just watched "The Wackness" last night and I highly (pun intended) recommend it.
Ben Kingsley as a stoner psychiatrist. Takes place in the early/mid 90s in NYC, where i lived at the time. Not haha stoner funny but very well done. i even liked the performance of one of the Olson twins :D The one who also was in "Weeds".

I thought of another one, it's not a pot movie perse, but there is a scene in it I thought was hilarious. The movie is "History of the World Part I", the scene where Gregory Hines (rip) rolls up a super duper fatty, and gets the entire Roman army high in order to make their escape. I roll on the floor everytime I see it.

One of my all-time favorites, is the THE STONED AGE (1994). I like it much better than Dazed and Confused. This film is a must see!

I agree.....this also has Really Great Hip-Hop and stars "Josh" from "Drake & Josh"...hahahaha....he's a stoner!!!!.... Method Man makes an appearance as well along with other known actors. This is in the category of an Independent Film
