I know its corny and a total clique but im going to the show tommorow eve. Has anyone seen it?Its a t san manuel and the tickets were quite reasonable.Im torn between thefeelings of respect I have for the MMJ movement and my desire to have my albums signed. Also Ive always liked Tommy Chong, felt he got a hard deal a few years ago. So WTers what do you think????

I think they are great, always have been and still are, everyone knows they have always been the "stereotype" of an "excessive stoner", not the real case with most smokers.

If anything they kind endeared people to the "goofy bumbling stoner" who Overindulges, most everybody realizes this isn't the typical MJ user.

Their relative successes in other areas shows the rest of the world the truth....

Cheech is a pretty good actor if you ask me, he has done a lot of great work in different movies and T.V.

If they are going out again, they must need a little money and I say everyone that smokes should help them with their little Nest Egg, they've made me laugh more than a few times.
No matter what image they portray the fact is, in the 70's 80's and (90's kinda) what they did to popularize MJ and make it more accepted by the mainstream, was one of the many factors that actually brought us to the point where we are today with Legal MMJ.

Yeah and Tommy did get a real RAW Deal, made me soooooooooooo pissed, better get that "Stoner" rather than using all that money that went into busting and prosecuting him for something like say........providing Healthcare for what like a 100 families for a YEAR, that's the REAL Crime.

Don't feel guilty at all, feel Great about going and hope you have Lots O' FUN.

Well after seeing mister Cheech Marin play a cop for so many years on T.V. it makes me wonder if he was ever the reall Cheech that everyone thought he was to begin with. Now as for Tommy Chong we all know he's the real deal and is down for his rights!!!!!

What's wrong with a fun night out, celebrating the plant that God gave us to make use of in so many wonderful ways?

It's really ok to enjoy getting stoned, and to enjoy a night out doing the Cheech & Chong thing.

Getting stoned, is nothing but a side effect of our meds..albeit a rather pleasant one!

Go, have a great time, and get those albums signed!

Oh man! I saw their Myspace Secret Show at the Roxy in Hollywood about a month and a half ago. They did ALL their old jokes. Mark my words, you will definetly have a great time!!!!!

ooooh my head... No drinking but plenty of uncomfortable. Its been some time since I went out and actually DID something.
Was it ever worth every ache. You betcha. Its going to take days to recover and im making this short before my nasty meds kick in. yuck!!
Enough about me ON with the show>>>> It was awesome, tommys wife Shelby of 25 yrs. opened and she was funny!! She wasnt what I expected for tommy, kinda barbie like. But nice ,sorta down to earth, as much as one can be living w/ tommy and dropping the best acid in the country ( and canada) most of her younger yeasrs.
Tommy looked great seemed to not be able to keep this big A$$ grin off his face the whole show. You cpuld tell HE was lovin it.
Cheech looked great too, but Tommy did most of the stand up while Cheech was on the skits. And they did alot of the old stuff... Ralph and herbie just about brouht the house down You know the two dogs looking for Fefe, lets see also the old married couple ( cant remember his name hers was Martha) going to see a porno, the old guy in the park being picked on by the young guy in the park, till the tables are turned ... The one where cheech is picking up women in his car and Tommy in drag get a ride , and then gives cheech some acid with dire consequenses.
There were a few more but Im fuzzy this morn..... But for me thr two best parts well three were Tommy playing the blues for a woman whose mostly on the dresser by now, Cheech in the pink tutu doing the ; my head is like a seive number, then having a walker brought on stage to help him off. And finially we all sang the up in smoke song, english and spanish!
Needless to say It Was A Stone Cold Groove my friends and I enjoyed some meds BEFORE we got there. A side note I did see some folks escorted out for toking up in the show... not me tho rest assured... and Im pretty sure they didnt get ALL of them..cause I could smellsomethig??? Well who knows and I like my glass house just the way it is, so no stone throwing for me.
It was all very nostalgic and sorta commercial with mostly a rehash of their old stuff with Tommy doing stand up between skits... Stuff about Jail and prosscution for the bongs and stuff... NEW stuff... I over spent my budget on souviniers ( that damn commercialism again) but Ihad to have it.
Wow lok at my spelling... More later if I can think of any.. right now Im too wiped out to type anymore.
Last word Tommy Chong has still got it, I laughed soo hard Im in serious pain here...which has me laughin again. TEE HEE a great time

Yes, A perfect show.
Worth the 30 years wait and worth every penny spent on tickets.
Tommy and Cheech still got it going on,Haven't laughed so hard in many years.
Got excellent seats-----5th row center.

To Bad I missed some fellow WTers(GOPERS & Tanja) if I had only known.
Brought enough OG for everyone,
My wife and I even wore out WT shirts-----

All said and done-----A Perfect evening.
